Unfortunately, these heads are very thin, too thin for most hand drums. They could work on a small darbuka or panderio, but for bongos, not so much. The one I mounted on the macho drum broke after just a few days and it wasn’t that tight.These heads are inexpensive, but they can’t take much pressure. Would be OK if used gently and not tuned high.
