This brass hose barbed elbow fitting is an adapter for connecting pipelines, the barbed end should be linked to the hose, and the male NPT on the other end should be connected with the female NPT of a pipe fitting.
WIDELY USED
Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel, and the relative softness of brass threading. This connector has a temperature range from -53 ~ 121°C (-65 ~ 250°F).
SOLID
The hose barb fittings are made of brass. It has greater strength than cast brass. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability.
EASY TO INSTALL
Easy to use and install. It is widely used to connect tubes or pipes.

I wish they sold them individually but it's a greater value to buy two although I'll never use the second one. Still cheaper than the home center (and available).

These were a well needed upgrade to my water filter system with had the cheaper plastic connectors no more worry now of sharing broken plastic connectors these well made brass fittings are made to last I highly recommend
