I put these in my 40 yr. old Smith Victor reflectors, they work fine. As long as I don't tip them over, they should give me good service for a long time. Unlike a few hours with the old hot photo flood bulbs.

Man, these things last for years! I want to say I bought my lighting kit like 5-7 years ago, and I am only just now having to replace the light bulbs! We use the kit fairly often, so I think that’s impressive.

One of my bulbs doesn’t really work. I used one of them and it works fine. When I went to use the second one, it turns on for only a millisecond and then stops working.
