We've all lost them, and these are a great replacement.

I figured that with two different sizes, one would probably fit my vintage Epiphone but that wasn't the case. Although the smaller of the two at 5mm would start to thread in, it was apparent it was not the correct pitch. On further research, I determined I needed a 5mm thread with .9 threads per mm, while this one was .8. I also needed a thinner pilot section leading up to the thread. So, figuring it was cheap enough, I went ahead and ground the desired profile on the end and then chased the remainder of the existing thread with a 5x.9 die. It then fit, but as shown in the pic, it sat at an extremely high angle above the strings. With nothing to lose at that point, I bent it to a more playable position fully expecting it to snap. It did not, although the chrome plating flaked off at the bend. In any case, I ended up with something that's useable, but I'll still be on the hunt for a more correct part.Aside from my fit issues, I'm sure this is a good fit for some guitars and it's very economical. The fact that it comes with two different sizes and, in particular, includes interchangeable ends in white, black, and tan, is a nice plus.
