These were tested on my workbench power supply and made my led bulbs hyper flash. So I once again test fitted on my car with and without engine running and no hyper flash. So far there working. I dont understand why my old set of Xentec 55w ballast does not have issues with hyper flashing while using my workbench power supply or on the car. I will update my review as needed.

I have a Quad Retrofit. Both sets of lights are using these ballasts, one for about 10 months, the other for about 18 months. These ballasts are very dependable, they start up every single time, no problems whatsoever. They are also very bright, one of them is plenty to illuminate the road side-to-side.Keep in mind that 55w ballasts can change the color of a bulb. They will produce warmer, more washed-out light compared to using 35w ballasts.

These were no good I had them for less than a day on my car and one of them was junk. I hard wired them with a kit straight from my battery then a capacitors but one of them would just go on and off. I switched ballast and they work great.

January, 2015Nice and bright. To be honest, I have projector headlights on my 2014 R1 and I previously had 35w ballasts. I switched them out with these and its a little brighter, but nothing too crazy. Be sure you run a relay harness to protect your stock harness. My previous bike had a short because I ran HID's without a relay harness. Ended up causing all of the lights to constantly dim on and off. The repair would have costed over a G, so I bought a new bike.UPDATE February 15, 2016***Over a year later and no issues at all. The ballasts are running strong, and even the bulbs are doing well (NOTE: the bulbs I used were Kensun 35 watt, 5000k bulbs. I've heard there is no different between 35 watt and 55 watt bulbs, but they are working fine.). I used to be big on Kensun because they would send me replacement ballasts after their burned out in a couple months, but with these I don't need replacements. I will update once these ballasts fail.

I recently purchase these set of HID 55w AC ballast for my 2009 Honda Fit Sports they plug and work perfectly... another note you must have an relay harness kit to make them work while using these set of ballasts, so far its been a whole months with no issue at all... all I can say is that these baby light up night and day so damn bright that the 5000K HID was pure white like it should BE and no hint of blue what so ever, all I can say is that please people's stop throwing your money away for them cheapoooo non- AC 35w that you get from eBay or your local shop they do not compare to these set of BALLASTS at all.. NO FLICKING OR COLOR CHANGE what so ever, it really help out the HID to bring out its true brightness and correct color like an HID should be... Had in the past with 35w and they won't even compare to these set of ballast, these are the best ballasts for your budget...

After several years of buying cheap HID conversion kits, having ballast fail within days and then being faced with returning failed ballast back to the seller, sometimes in CHINA, to get a replacement, I discovered INNOVITED 55 watt AC Ballast. Some conversion kits and ballasts sold as 55 watt are actually a re-labled 35 watt ballast. If you buy a DC (direct current) ballast, 35 or 55 watt, expect the light output to be close to half of a "AC" ballast. DC conversion kits sell for less because they cost less to produce and output a lot less lumens than the AC (alternating current) ballast. I know, because I have bought them all.For the last two plus years I have replaced other 35w or 55w failed ballast, or installed new 55w conversion kits with INNOVITED products. Since I started installing INNOVITED HID poducts, I have not had a single ballast or bulb failure! That says alot about the quality and value of this product.
