These liners are a great substitute for the coco matt basket liners which the birds love picking apart for nesting materials. The black looks sharp too against the black iron baskets.

I have 30" hanging baskets but based on other reviews that said these run small, I ordered the 36" size. While those are *slightly* bigger than what I need (by about 1/2 inch) there's no way the 30" would have worked. Whatever size you need, order one about 5-6 inches bigger. That being said, they look great and hold water well. They should last more than one or two seasons.

not made quite large or deep enough to fit the planters , I thought they would stretch a bit after they were filled with soil but I have had them filled and in place for about a month and they haven't filled out the rod iron holder, that's why the three star rating but they are sturdy and the black color looks very nice , birds and squirrels can't tear or shred them up for nesting material . I would recommend if ya don't mind the skimpier size .

I wanted black liners and not the coir that usually come with these trough planters. These fit the bill. They are sturdy and look so much better than brown. They do not leak dirt from the bottoms. But: if you buy them choose a larger size than your planter. My planters are 24 inch but after reading the reviews I bought the 30 inch. So glad I did. The 30 inch fit my 24 inch planters very well.

I loved the price and they arrived today and I got right to using them. This completely upgraded my straw liners that the birds absolutely loved sourcing from me. Balanced restored! I took the previous helpful reviewers’ heed and ordered a size up! They are the perfect size for both my rectangular and my round trough baskets. I kept the straw inside for extra moisture in these upcoming hot months and you cannot even see them in there! They are pretty deep for my baskets. My accents look even more classy and well maintained! My only concern is I hope the fabric doesn’t fade too quickly in our sunshine. Even so, if they only last a few years, they were worth it.

Whatever size you think you need, add about 6 inches. This item is sewn flat and does measures exactly 36" long. When it is opened up and fit into the planter trough, however, you lose at least 2"-3" on each side. It also loses height in front, so honestly, you should probably skip it altogether unless your baskets are pretty small. One might be tempted to chalk this up to user error because the length is technically accurate. But this is a 2 dimensional liner advertised for a 3 dimensional basket and also says 7.9" deep. If they give a L x D X H then all the measurements should match when it's opened up and they simply don't. So this doesn't deserve the 3s people having been giving it because they were willing to take some of the blame.

My wire planter is 36 x 7.5 x 7.5. I ordered the 36” liner based on the dimensions posted. The dimensions advertised are accurate 36 x 7.9 x 7.9 but….the mfg did not allow for fabric to expand inside the planter. It needs to have a gusset otherwise it’s too short. If you stretch it fit end to end, it will not go to the top of the planter. If you pull it to the top of the planter, It will be about an inch or more too short in width. Not sure this is going to work for me.
