The Osprey Antenna features a transparent casing, unique hybrid network, and is smaller than other 5.8GHz CP antennas, Dimensions(head): 14.1mm diameter. X 14mm height.
Although the Osprey Antenna is both small and light, it does not sacrifice any performance with high gain of up to 2.8dBi and 99% radiation efficiency. Moreover, it outperforms most other antennas in all categories. Sophisticated engineering gives this antenna a near-perfect circular shape for better range and penetration.

I have many Osprey antennas, and they all work well for the money, though better ones do exist for roughly 2x the price. Most of my stuff is RHCP for analog/HDZero, but my DJI stuff is stuck on RHCP due to the goggles 3 having permanently affixed antennas. If you are flying Walksnail or DJI, these are the antennas you want on goggles/drone.

The FlyFish antennas are an excellent solution for long-range FPV quads, providing 5.8 GHz frequencies commonly used by VTX systems. The 150mm length helps ensure that the quad frame doesn’t obstruct the signal, and the one-directional radiation pattern provides signal coverage for large geographical areas. This antenna can be used on any SMA threaded connector, making it ideal for the quad or fpv headset. I particularly like the green antenna ends because they match my 7-inch quad color scheme well. I tested the antennas out in an open field area, flew about 1.5 miles downrange, and didn’t have any signal degradation or drops. Of course, with any 5.8 GHz, you must stay within line-of-sight and avoid intermediate obstructions. I find it particularly difficult to find many LHCP antenna options in the FPV market, so I’m happy that FlyFishRC makes an affordable solution. The antennas are hardened and flexible, so any crashes or rough handling won’t damage the antennas. The flexibility also allows you to position the antennas for optimal signal broadcast.

I have been using these FlyFish Osprey antennas on my Chimera 7 and Helion 10 drones for quite a while. While I cannot say that they are a huge upgrade from the stock iFlight Albatross antennas these drones shipped with (those are great antennas too), the Osprey are very reliable and at least on par with the iFlight antennas.I have seen these antennas work flawlessly past 6km paired with Caddx Vista and stock DJI O3 air units (in unobstructed areas).For the price... you cant go wrong.

Snapped off the antenna head / mast after a serious crash. So, I ordered these and they fit as expected with no issues. Nice snug fit, smooth threads, and overall nice quality for the price that can't really be beat. Off to flying again and ripping through the skies.
