I had purchased a water separator for my air compressor and it was a 1/2 inch connection. I bought these to reduce the size to 3/8 inch. These worked great with some Teflon I have no leaks and I am able to keep my air hose connected with out the compressor running all the time from leaks. Will buy again if needed.
