These bowls are very small. It's best for kittens or puppies. The size is measured at the outside diameter and not the inside of the bowl. You might be surprised at how tiny these are.

I have 4 dogs and use fresh food, so I need to be able to toss their bowls in the dishwasher to sanitize them. These are perfect so far! They’re sturdy and don’t tip over due to the rubber covering the edges. So far these are holding up well!

Our Shiba Inu, Finn developed a habit of picking up his food bowl with his mouth & dropping it on the floor to let us know that thee bowl was empty. The 1st couple of times it was cute but not a habit that we wanted to reinforce. Finn is no longer able to do so. Water retention & functionality are great.

this set of bowls is easy to clean and, best of all, doesn't get tipped over by our two 4 month old pups.No more picking up food everywhere on the floor or, worse, crushing it underfoot. hooray!

I bought these to replace my other cat bowls because they were beginning to stain/rust. One day with water in these new bowls and they were already staining. The steel seems to be thin.

I had hoped these would be like the old heavy ones we had but they are lightweight so they scoot across our concrete patio when dog tries to feed. Been putting bowls up against something so it won't happen but just wish they were heavier, dog does too! The dish is large enough for our big dog and cleans up easily.
