Yes, you can find a cheaper reusable pee pad. BUT you will not be at this quality so this price point makes sense. I already wasted my money so you don't have to. I have a 3 month old puppy that I'm litter training from 9 weeks old. These pads have saved my floors and my sanity. The pee doesn't seep through and if you catch the liquid quickly, it will absorb into a paper towel. Then you can spray that spot with an enzyme cleaner to break the habit. Second, these are slick enough for my vacuum to glide over. Third, there's no rubber smell when you open the pack. I have 4 in multiple sizes. You can use it immediately if you're in a crunch or wash it first without a problem. Poop behavior will depend on your dog. Solid poop can be picked up but wet poop may lock in. Either way, throw it in the washer so that the colorful side with the stain is exposed to the water and enzyme cleaner. Don't fold it so you see the rubber backing. Expert tip: Lysol wipes work well to clean up quick messes on these so you aren't washing a load every few hours. Enjoy!

It fits our puppy play pen nice & thus far I think it was a good thing to have for our 10 week old toy poodle babies

These were the best investment ever. Washable, durable, and they have lasted weeks with our puppies. Protecting my floors and being able to wash them easily is key! They dry on low heat quickly and you use them again. Much better than expensive puppy pads you put down and toss. Plus now the puppies just play and eat those but these are still going strong!!!

I had purchased another brand of pad that was terrible. This one is what I wanted - it’s thick, the grips on the bottom are sufficient to hold it in place, it washes well (I haven’t dried it), and the design is cute but light enough (blue mushroom design) to see when it’s been used. Definitely recommend this pad.

GREAT VALUE, VERY EASE TO USE AND JUST THROW IN THE WASHER AND DRYER AND THEY COME OUT GREAT. I USE BLEACH BUT IT DID NOT DISCOLOR THESE AT ALL. THEY ARE SLIP RESISTANTE AND VERY CUTE. I WILL PURCHASE THESE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Right out of the packet the dog pee toke a minute to absorb into the mat, but after a wash they work great.
