Good way to get the new VB 30 battery for more power and reduced the recycle time. Batteries worked and didn't explode and maintain the direct USB charging. Used for a few shoots so far and works like it should.

So, I picked up a couple of these batteries for my Godox flash setup, and here's the lowdown:Pros:Increased Capacity:The 3500mAh rating is a definite plus vs 2980mAh on the original Godox. Although there is not way to actually measure this (I don't) and some reviewers noted that those feel lighter than the original, raising concerns if this one actually packs 3500mAh. Which is totally possible if they are using a more modern cell.USB-C Charging:Being able to charge directly with a USB-C cable is super convenient and I would say faster than using a caddie. But no benefit from the original, which also can be USB charged.Price:They are cheaper than the original batteries, but not by much. Two Godox would be $110 so you are saving $30 only.Performance:For the most part the batteries perform well, with fast recycle times, and good power output. I have not exhausted the battery to see if they reach 500 full power flashes, but cycle looks to be the same as the original at 1.5 sCons:Fitment Issues:Some reviewers have noticed that the fit isn't perfect. They can be a bit tight or loose in some flashes, and can be difficult to remove. This is a bit worrying for long term use. This one is 7cm x 4.15cm x 2.4cm which can be very different from your flash battery. Be sure to measure your flash battery before purchasing.

They work as described, but there are fitment issues. These batteries are about 1 MM or so shorter than OEM batteries. They fit inside my Godox V100, but it takes a little bit of extra force to snap them into place. Releasing with the push-button on the V100 also requires a little extra force to remove the battery. These will remain spares, and will not be my first choice and only used in the event the OEM battery is out of juice or fails for some reason. Fit tolerances are important for the long-term life of the release mechanism, so if this gets worn out, you won't be able to keep the battery in place. This is worrisome for a $300 speedlight.

I have two Godox V1 flashes. The Godox batteries slide in with some resistance, then lock in place easily. These batteries slide in easily, then lock in with some resistance. It's a noticeable difference, but not a big deal. In use the power output of the flashes is identical to when using the originals and I love the ability to charge these batteries directly with a USB-C cable. I haven't been able to test longevity vs the originals, but I wouldn't expect there to be a difference.

I recently upgraded to a Godox V100. And this flash is so awesome I wanted to have spare batteries on hand to keep in running on a busy day, but the price was holding me back. My daughter is getting into photography as a hobby and needed some more batteries so I checked these out and took a chance. She said these are working great and she's very happy with the results. Definitely highly recommend these. I have not tried any of the brands but these just work so I have to recommend these
