I purchased these back in July of 24 and it's now Feb 2025. So I think this is fair time frame to make a product evaluation/review. I gave it a 5 star review, because I would buy it again. There are many chargers to choose from, finding one that is of decent quality and can stand up to all weather conditions was high on the list. The unit is very easy to use, the display is clear and easy to read. It's been below -12C for the past week or so, and no issues with broken wires etc. which is often the case with some of these chargers. Charges and maintains the batteries in our RV and motorcycle, both 6V and 12V very quickly. I tested the "Advanced Battery Repair" feature on an old 12 volt car battery I had kicking around that would not fully charge. It took 2 cycles, but it worked. So all in all, this is very good value for the money.

I was searching for a battery, tender for my bobcat, when I found this product on Amazon. The price point made it reasonable, because I actually needed two, one for the bobcat and one for a scooter. It comes with the adapters needed for both, it has a self regulating on off with a digital readout. That makes it very easy. If you need a battery, tender, this one does work very well. I've had it on both the scooter and the bobcat for a month now with no issues at all. Great value highly recommend. Not sure why Amazon asks the question if this is an age appropriate toy, it is definitely not a toy. This is a useful tool for your garage.

I got a two pack of these about a month ago and I'm impressed with the fact that one has been out in the elements of winter the whole time rain, snow, and melting snow with no protection. It has continued to keep working. The true test for durability was tonight when I got home it's 0 degrees Fahrenheit and frozen in the ice and snow. I just kicked the ice and snow around to find where to plug my extension cord into it and then grabbed the other end and ripped it through the ice and thinking to myself this thing is screwed( insert another word) and it works just fine. After a month so far I am very impressed.

I’ve had a lot of battery chargers in my time. I’m a DIY with all kinds of batteries. I was searching for a good float battery maintainer it was disappointed with a lot of other ones until I found these. I like them because you can’t set them in float mode, which puts a constant charge on the battery and then slowly drops down to an almost nothing charge Like a typical float charger. Also, it has a mode where it will charge to full then stop and it will only start charging again if it reaches down to 12.5 V, then it has a repair function that you can use to revitalize, weak or bad batteries and it actually works quite well. Also, a nice bonus is if you plug in the charger to the battery, but not to the wall 120 V power it will show the voltage of the battery which is a nice feature. So you get a constant float charge charger, a Repair charger, a voltmeter and an automatic on off charger all in one

Works nicely. These are trickle chargers, meant for battery maintenance but they will charge a discharged battery, albeit slowly. I have one on a car we don't use often and one on my lawn tractor for the winter. When I first connected it, It showed the car only had a 25% charge but after being connected overnight, car was up to 100% and has been there ever since. Lawn tractor charged up more quickly and we'll see how well it starts come spring. Very happy with these for now.

I bought these to maintain the battery on a propane fueled generator. The generator is back up power for a water well pump that is remote from our home. These little devices will maintenance charge, cycle and charge either 12 volt or 6 volt batteries. It come with two attaching cables. One with alligator clips the other has ring terminals. Both connect with a polarized molded connector. Both of good quality. The electronics are enclosed in a molded plastic case with lighted indicators for which mode it's in. It also has a meter to show percentage of charge. All and all an impressive piece of gear for the money. I don't know about longevity but function is quite good.

What a problem solver, headache eliminator, and frustration lifesaver. I have a Lexus that has a vampire drain on the battery - the car will literally NOT start after a few weeks of being parked. I bought the charger, plugged it into the wall, and run it under 'trickle' charge. It's been months since starting the car, and the car starts right up. I wish I knew about these years ago.

Initially worked well but one of the units packed up a day after the return window closed, the other is still working hence 2 stars.UPDATE:Unplugged the unit and earthed the two alligator clips, left unplugged for 24 hrs, plugged back in and it worked, started charging at 12v, nothing in troubleshooting about this so must have been a glitch. Back to 4 stars
