It can take a long time to pump up a sup with the manual pump. But the time you have it at the 15 PSI, you are already tired before the paddle has touched the water. This adapter allows you to use a compressor or petrol station tire inflator and it is far quicker and easier, so you can actually enjoy paddling.

Pumped 5 psi into my SUP in 25 minutes. So little airflow out of the car tire pump. Not worth it.

Give it the time it needs. I ran this off an air compressor made for cars and it does work well, so long as you give your paddle board 20minutes or so to reach the required psi.

I am using them for my air pump to air up my paddle board! Saves time if you have a battery operated pump vs hand pumping

This works great! Attached it to my Milwaukee battery air compressor and connected to my paddle board and inflated she was! Yes it takes a good 20 minutes but I don’t break a sweat doing it!

I'm glad I tried it out beforehand otherwise I would have traveled to the SUP meet-up for nothing.

First, I gave 5 stars only because the adapter works fine. There is a HUGE caveat to that, however. DO NOT buy this and expect it to be faster or more efficient than a hand pump, or an electric pump designed for paddleboards. I did a test in my backyard with a 12 volt, 150psi electric pump. It took a full HOUR (60 minutes!) to reach 5psi. Let me say that again. It took 1 full hour to reach 5psi. My board has a max of 15, and I like it at 12 or 13psi. I took the adapter off, and 30 seconds of hand pumping brought me from 5 to 12psi. I can get my board from 0 to 12 psi in about 5 minutes of hand pumping if I go hard. So, if you have over an hour to waste waiting for your board to inflate, this works just fine. If you don't, then don't bother with this or any other adapter, and use products, whether human or electric powered, that are designed from the ground up for paddleboards.

I bought these so I could test the accuracy of the inbuilt pressure gauge on the pump for my inflatable kayak against an accurate digital pressure gauge. Worked perfectly for what I wanted, losing minimal air when connected or removed. I chose the orange bodies as they are a bit more visible if I drop one.
