It was exactly as pictured; it is used to organize floss bobbins. It is versatile and can be used for other craft projects. It seems to be quite sturdy. I have purchased them in the past and still have my four original craft boxes (identical to this purchase) and they are about 15 years old.

This is made of thick durable plastic. The lid closes and opens easily. It holds the DMC bobbin threader and allows you to turn it without the container wiggling at all. I chose it because at it slightly higher price it was worth it since it showed it was made of the USA. The sticker on the bottom also says made in the USA. Unfortunately there is a crack in the back corner of the lid. It does not affect The opening and closing, Aunt it stays together not splitting more unless you pull it apart. I'm going to do just that and stick a little super glue in there. Considering it was packed in with books, I do not know where the fault lies and it's easily repairable. I am very happy with it and I will buy another.Have now bought a two pack as well. Have all I need as of now. The two pack arrived in perfect condition And are just as well made as the single. Very happy and very satisfied

I love this box. It fits my left over embroidery floss perfectly. I did not use the paper/cardboard bobbins because they did not seem sturdy enough. I bought plastic one to replace them. I will probably purchase more of these boxes to store more embroidery floss and large bead.
