Have been using this fan for light to moderate cooling on a 3d printer for almost two years. Fan motor stalled/melted tonight for some unknown reason. Upon disassembly, I could not find any obstruction or mechanical reason for failure. However, it appears that the fan motor may have been installed off-center/crooked from the factory and this latest print cycle finally caused it to seize/fail melting the plastic hub from excess heat/friction. I have installed the second fan in this pack mid-print in an attempt to save my work in progress. Will update this review if the second fan suffers the same fate.

I had bought a new extruder / hotend combination. What I did not realize at the time is that my part cooling fan needed a boost. Hence this blower fan. It definately gets the job done, and has significantly improved cooling on my printer (Ender 5 Pro). I'm doing better with bridging and observing less stringing. It is a bit louder than I would like, its not bad by most 3d printing standards, I was hoping the larger size would translate into a quieter operation. I don't have hard numbers to compare, but I would say its roughly the same as the stock fan. Your mileage may vary in that regard. When it comes to installation you'd think just plugging in the fan would be easy. However for me it required printing a whole new blower duct to fit this form factor. I also needed to reverse the black and red wire in order to get it to work. It looks sketchy on my rig, but there must be a crossed wired somewhere, that I've been too lazy to track that down. But I did want to mention it.One thing to note is make sure you check whether you need a 2 wire or 3 wire fan before buying. This is a two wire fan, I made that mistake and now have a couple spare blower fans on hand :) I hope this review has been helpful to you!

These are 12V models, so you need a buck converter to bring it down from the stock 24V to this. If you want speed control, the wiring become a bit more complicated but it is possible. It involves changing the ground and several other things. These are quiet and move a ton of air compared to the stock 4010 fan. I run these at 50% during normal prints.

I have these inside a refrigerator in an RV. They are very thin and small. Also power. I used double sided Gorilla tape to stick them to the top of the refrigerator section. They are doing well to keep ice from forming on the cooling fins during hot humid days.

I'll admit that maybe I'm not using these in the proper way. I set this up as a set of dual cooling fans for my Ender 5. I wired them in parallel from the existing 12v supply. They would wine at anything under 40% power (which is probably why they died).I noticed neither were running, so I tested everything back to the fan. One fan refused to turn at all, the other one I was able to get to turn, but after running for about 30 seconds it started to smoke. This was after about 2-3 weeks and maybe 200 total hours of running (the 40% or so was only for the first few layers until it ramped up to 50%).The both died about the same time (I didn't notice it until a few days ago when I started getting some really weird prints, and I noticed my prints were seriously sagging).

Estos ventiladores no se pueden regular, o funcionan o no funcionan, pero no se puede indicar el % de "soplado" para la capa, ni con duet se pueden controlar. No los recomiendo a no ser que quieras que estén soplando siempre al 100%

I bought these for my CR-10S 3d printer as a way to cool off filament. Unfortunately these will not run on anything less than 12v power so if your settings are below 100% on your printer these will not run. These did not have a warning relaying that message which is why I'm only giving them 3 stars. As far as being used for other purposes where running a consistent 12v power is necessary then these will do just fine. Pushes out a good constant stream of air.

I picked these up with the intention of wiring them in parallel and using them with a duct to cool parts on my 3D printer (Flashforge Finder)It didn't pan out, I wound up hanging some 120mm fans to use on the 3D printer. Next, I was going to use these as part of a fume removal system for soldering. These little guys kinda have a narrow stream of airflow from the nozzle, so I went with a physically larger blower fan. But, I've been using canned air to clean my consumer electronics and I think these will work great for that. I did try using one on my Nintendo Wii U and it worked fairly well. With two on a fixture with nozzles to further focus the airflow, I think these will work great as a small blower cleaner.

If you have a 3D Printer and are tired of the fan noise due to the vibrations from your printer, stop right now and buy these fans. They are dual ball bearing fans and will eliminate that noise. They are awesome, fast and extremely quiet.

These ONLY operate at 12v. Any decrease (such as on 50% or 75% speed on 3D-Printers) will not turn the motor at all. So ALL or nothing.Other than that, It blows pretty darn good.
