Purchased for friend with limited hand use. Works well to allow one handed connection and disconnection even with limited hand strength. Data connection seems solid. Able to stream video over it. Only had it for a few days so I cannot yet speak to its robustness over time.

Aus meiner Sicht ein feines Teil.5 Sterne, weil alles so funktioniert, wie ich es erhofft habe.Aber wo bekomme ich passende Stecker zum Anschluss des Adapters her? Oder muss ich immer das Gessmtpaket (USB - Stecker plus Magnetadapter) erwerben? Das hat sich mir noch nicht richtig erschlossen.Dann wäre es mir etwas zu teuer!

I was worried these would be very light magnets but they aren't. I use one on my LegionGo and another on my iPad to keep the wear and tear of a USB cable in the port.I plan to buy several more. These are a little spendy but cheaper than getting USB-C ports replaced.

Don't buy them...... these are hit or miss if they will just charge or not. They don't transmit data but will at times charge. If only for chargeing then i would had given it 2.5 starts. And the magnets suck and fall off. Stronger Magnetic attraction would help

I got this Magtame adapter for use with my Samsung Galaxy phone and tablet. I am always keen to de-stress the USB C charging port on both devices and magnetic connectors are the best way to do this.Charging speeds when using this product are not hampered at all and consistent with charging without the adapter. The strength of the magnetic connection is extremely good, giving confidence that it won't disconnect itself.The right-angled design is a terrific feature. It allows me to place my phone or tablet in portrait mode even when they are charging, which is not possible using just the OEM cable. Even when my tablet is in the usual landscape mode for watching some media, the cable now sits neatly down the edge of the device and not protruding.Construction of the adapter and tips is very good, being nicely finished aluminium.Good value and recommended.

I choses this one because the other was round and hit the case. This one fits into the phones with the case. Also many of them was wired and in many of the reviews it seems the wire just like any USB cable gives out. Here the only cable is what you plug in so the connected never gets damage

Meine Bewertung wird dadurch jedoch nicht beeinflusst.Der Adapter kommt in einer sehr kompakten Faltschachtel an und besteht aus dem Winkeladapter sowie zwei zugehörigen magnetischen USB-C Anschlüssen.Optik und FunktionsumfangDer Adapter ist mit einer Länge von insgesamt 2,8 x 2,0 cm relativ kompakt gebaut (inkl. USB-C Einheit).Als Material wurde eine Mischung aus schwarzem, matten Kunststoff und eloxiertem grauen Metall gewählt.Auf der Außenkante ist eine kleine Status LED angebracht, mit der kontrolliert werden kann, ob der Adapter korrekt angeschlossen ist.Ich suchte nach einer passenden Lösung für ein 1m langes Displayport over USB-C Kabel und ein 2m langes USB-C Ladekabel, das mit meinem iPad Air (M1) 11“ kompatibel ist.Dieses Modell erfüllt die Anforderungen optimal.Der Adapter stellt eine sehr gute Lösung dar, wenn ein rechtwinkliger USB-Anschluss benötigt wird, der die Belastung der USB-C Buchse reduziert, falls das Kabel versehentlich gezogen wird.Er ist zwar recht hochpreisig, kann aber aufgrund der sehr guten Verarbeitung und dem Funktionsumfang hervorragend für den Einsatz verwendet werden – der Magnetmechanismus bietet eine starke Haltekraft, bevor eine Trennung eintritt.Wenn der Stecker vom Adapter getrennt wird, ist es mit dicken Fingern etwas fummelig, den Adapter aus dem USB-C Slot zu entfernen, für meine Hände aber sehr einfach und auch ohne größere Kraftanstrengung – was ein gutes Zeichen ist.In Bezug auf die Ladeleistung liefert der Stecker problemlos die erforderliche Leistung für das iPad Air (M1) 11“. Sowohl die Verarbeitung als auch die Optik und Haptik sind von sehr guter Qualität. Der Funktionsumfang des Adapters und die Tatsache, dass man ihn tatsächlich auch an einem Monitor anschließen kann, macht ihn für mich erst recht interessant. Ich kann den Adapter auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

I use this in combination with a USB-C dock at my desk.It's GREAT. I connect my computer (a MacBook Pro) and it's instantly connected to power, ethernet, and a monitor at my desk.Previously, I was using the dock (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088F7SY6S) without this connector, and a few times I'd forget that it was plugged in, and yank the cord. I was worried that after a few more accidents like this, the plug (or worse, the socket on my laptop) would get damaged.Now I don't have to worry: I can just pick up my laptop, and it disconnects safely and easily. It even makes it easier to reconnect, as I can just slide my laptop up to the plug with one hand, and the magnets are strong enough to click themselves into place.Before I got this, my biggest concern was whether it'd transmit data well enough for both video-out and ethernet to work reliably, but I haven't had any problems. The right-angle in the adapter also helps with cable management (the cord now approaches my laptop from behind, rather than snaking out to the side), and the fact that it lights up when there's a connection is a nice touch.My one very minor complain is that I wish it was available in other colors. It's kind of a "champagne gold" color, which seems like a weird choice to be the only available color. Why not something more neutral like silver or black? This is a very minor nit, though, and not worth taking off a star.

The adapter itself works fine ***when*** it's connected, but that's the problem: It is CONSTANTLY disconnecting because the magnet is ridiculously weak. If you just barely touch this thing or move your phone even at a slight angle the adapter immediately falls off.This was WAY overpriced to begin with, but is functionally useless because it is constantly disconnecting.So I bought another cheap adapter like this from AliExpress for $1.95 and it has a stronger magnet than this one.Don't waste your money.Update: The seller has responded and offered a full refund, which is greatly appreciated. They also indicated that they will look into the possibility of increasing the magnetism for this product. My original review rated this product as two stars, but I am adding a star due to the excellent feedback from the seller. If they can increase the magnetism, I would consider trying this adapter again.So for the product itself I would still rate it two stars, but 5 stars across the board for the excellent customer service and follow up.

This is the second vendor's magnetic usbc device I've purchased. I would have re-purchased from the original vendor but their product is no longer available. These work great, good magnets, no data connectivity issues. Using on a DS dock to avoid wearing out the DS usbC port any more than it already has been. We used a rubber band to permanently push down the dock guide, inserted a short usbc cable and put this on the end that connects to the DS (which now lays down next to the dock when in use). No issues with dock HDMI or charging when this is in use. We started doing this after the DS started having issues with charging and realized the port was being worn out. Now, that's no longer an issue. We have more than one of these so the DS can also be charged while playing on the device itself. No issues with the cable falling off during normal play.

While this 9 pin model charges faster than previous releases (the round 360 magnets didn't work at all and took forever to charge your phone), it seems to lose its efficacy over a couple months, it begins to charge more slowly and the magnetic lock becomes weaker. This has been my experience. Even as the charge slowed a bit it was still acceptable to me, and even as the magnet that clamps onto the piece in your charging port became a bit weaker, the central idea of not harming the charging port of your phone still, I believe, merits using this device. I do a lot of graphical work on my phone and usually leave it plugged in. My Samsung s23 ultra has a great feature of cutting the charge to the phone when the battery is full (this way I can leave it plugged in and not overload the battery). But I have a terrible habit of getting up quickly with my 10-in cord somehow wrapped around me, and yanking the charging cord, with the phone, on to the floor. That's eventually going to weaken the fit of the piece that's inserted into your charging port and how tightly it's held in place. So I'm willing to bear with a slower charge, and a weaker magnetic connect, all for the value of not constantly ripping the mail charging piece roughly out of the charging ports. I hope that makes sense.
