Typical false advertising. Not 6 amp hours at all, only 3.6 amp hours.The first thing I did was fully charge the batteries in a genuine Makita battery charger, then I put them on a constant current of 3 amp load and measured the capacity. The max was only 3.6 amp hours. Bringing the battery down to the lowest safe rated 15 volts.The definition of FRAUD is: wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.My doesn't Amazon care about this endless fraud from these companies?

I ordered these and have had them long enough to run them through a few full cycles side by side with my old but still functional Makita batteries. Either these guys are not 6 amp hours or my Makitas are way over their stated amp hours of 1.5 and 2.0. I get about the same life out of one of these batteries as I do the Makita 2.0 ah battery.That said, these are a good value. They cost WAY less than Makita batteries. I've used them in my drill, driver and sawzall and they fit just as well as the originals. They charge properly on the charger and they do the job. I'm pleased with my purchase overall. They also have a bettery life indicator on the back, which I wish the manufacturer had taken the time to copy the styling of Makita on. It works - but it's 3 bars instead of 4 and the button must be held down the entire time you'd like a reading. Again, it works but I'd prefer it had 4 bars and that pressing the button would display the reading for a couple of seconds without having to hold it. Purely preference on my part. I'm just being picky, I guess.Bottom line, I would buy this again and I would recommend it to others.

Fits both my (chainsaw & my charger) looks good(colour match) i have used but really have no idea about Battery life, or Durability (only dropped once on grass & not high)

Probably the coolest looking batteries ever. Work great, hold a long charge. Charged mine only a few times since purchasing. Last about as long as an original Makita 18v batteries do

So far these have worked great. I use them for all my Makita tools. I have had no issues with the tools or the charger. As far as power duration it seems to be the same as my OEM batteries. I have had them only a few months so can't comment on longevity, but if they fail I will update this review.

I have used these batteries on the Makita chainsaw, 1/2" drill, and leaf blower. I will continue to use these batteries as they are 3000% cheaper than the Makitas. The difference is they have a bit less running time. They also don't activate the red lights on the equipment when they are discharged. That doesn't bother me a bit mainly because you don't need the red light as the equipment stops running anyway. I will not pay $200.00 for one Makita battery when these are $55.00 for two of them. They perform well on the charger also.JJK
