I mixed the flat tiles on the ends, which I easily cut, with the whole raised panel tiles in the middle for a beautiful finished product. The hardest part was removing the yellowed, crumbling old tiles from my basement ceiling. These were cheaper than the equivalent at the local home store.

Easy to install and easy to cut for lights. I was concerned about sturdiness in supporting lights, but they did the job. I did use some suspension wire to reduce the weight the tile needed to hold.

After researching drop ceiling tiles, both in national home improvement stores and online, we ended up going with these for our basement guest room for the following reasons.1) They were the most affordable, almost half the price of the most affordable option we found in a store.2) They looked exactly like our most preferred option from within a store, so much so that the tile we had purchased in a store to sample in the room is still in the ceiling, and is indistinguishable from these tiles. (It’s in one of the pictures included here.)3) The posting said that they were easy to cut, and I knew I’d have to make a lot of cuts.Shipping time was exactly as posted when I ordered. The boxes arrived a little beat up, but the tiles inside were not damaged. The tiles that didn’t need to be cut dropped into the existing drop ceiling grid with no problem. The tiles that needed to be cut were easy to cut. Now, bear in mind that “easy to cut” doesn’t mean it’s a piece of cake. I had quite a few cuts to make, some that were quite wonky, and it took a lot of patience and careful measuring and marking, but with a new blade in my box cutter, it cut through the tiles without a lot of elbow grease. I used one of the boxes that they came in as my mat, and it went just fine!In spite of how easy they were to cut, they still are quite sturdy. They don’t weight a lot, but have enough weight to them to be structured and to hang in place in the ceiling properly. I think they look pretty nice—certainly a lot better than the acoustical tiles that were in there before. Drop ceilings will always be drop ceilings, so it’s never going to be the classiest option, but for a relatively reasonable investment of time and money, we were able to upgrade the look of our basement guest room. All in all, I would recommend these tiles. They are as-pictured and as-described, and they will give any drop ceiling a mostly pain-free upgrade.

We had really old ceiling tiles that needed to be replaced and found these. They were reasonably priced in our search and looked so pretty so we gave them a try. We absolutely love them. They look so nice, we’re very easy to install, and we get so many compliments on them. Very happy, we will be ordering these for our entire basement.

These tiles were better than what I had imagined it to be! It was beautiful and great quality! Easy to install and very sturdy tiles. Only complaint is that it does can crack easily when you accidentally drop it! Overall, very happy with my purchases! Highly recommended for drop ceiling tiles.
