Introduction:
This product uses special compression modulation technology, on the front end (transmitter) let 2-channel CVI/AHD/TVI hd
camera to compressed, then made into digital signal in coaxial cable transmission. The back-end (receiver) through
modulation, reductive into 2-channel hd signals for hd DVR (CVI/TVI/AHD) or matrix use after decompression. This series of
products can be in adaptive adjust transmission distance within 0-400 m.
It supports 2 channel video signals in one coaxial cable by way of Frequency Division Multiplexing, with all data

Installation:
1.Plug the line cord to an outlet with grounding.
2.Connect input video cable to the input BNCs

Short of it slightly degraded image possibly, low power draw, works. I don't know if I would use it to save cable but saved me from from having to rerun a very difficult run. Can not speak for longevity as it has not even been a day yet.I have 2 cameras next to each other and one of the cables went bad. The runs are at least 100 yards of rg59. I am able to run both cameras over the one good one now. I'm almost positive the picture on both cameras is slightly distorted/colors might be different but it is still very usable. I am powering both the multiplexer transmitter and receiver with 1 12v 2amp power supply and that is with the camera and the transmitter being at the end of the over 100 yard run. I have attempted to measure the amperage and it is very low for running all 4, it was barely even registering, and the power supply is cool to the touch. Also tested it with all the different modes (ahd,tvi, etc) and they all seemed to work though some may have looked better then others but not sure how they looked before passing through multiplexer. In my opinion well worth the cost and trade offs for saved labor of new cable run.

Don't waste your money on this multiplexer. I tested it using 3-4' lengths of analog cable and the video color was degraded and there were shadows.
