I pictured wrapping it around the back of each tooth with it going in on side of the tooth and coming back out of my moth on the other. Unfortunately, between the thickness and abrasive surface I can't get it around the tooth. Even if it wore possible, you would need to use about a foot of it to wrap it around your fingers enough to have an adequate grip and even then, it seems likely that if I pulled that hard it would break. Love the product idea, but the tape needs to be much thinner and stronger to wrap around behind a teeth, then have some way of gripping the ends without wrapping it around each pointing finger 3 times. It's pretty expensive.
