Buy a different pen. Two pens come with the labels. They are really small and it is almost impossible to get the lid off. When the lid does come off, they print so faintly it is difficult to read.

Labels were perfect for what I needed them for. The pen was very easy to write with but definitely let it dry before touching it or it’ll wipe off.

This is a great set of chalkboard style labels and is perfect for labeling your pantry containers. When I switch something out, I can easily replace the label with a new one. These come with "chalk" markers which write very well. This makes my relabeling super easy, and I would definitely recommend!
