To be honest when we paint it it looks amazing on our bathtub but about in 15 days its started to come out. So i don't know if we did something wrong or if its the paint which stays for very short time.

If you take your time and do it right, it will turn out great. The extra prep work beforehand will pay off in the end. Make sure to wear a mask or keep a fan going as the smell is strong

Very happy with the results, after 2 coats it covers great and tile looks new. Only complaint I have is when it arrived, the lid had been cracked open and I lost a bit of the product.

This product is amazing! If you follow directions EXACTLY as they are written, you are left with a beautiful finished product. Don't cut corners or skip steps. I recommend reading directions thoroughly several times before starting the project. Use a brush for horizontal surfaces and apply THIN coats only. Vertical surfaces I recommend a lint-free roller for less drips and runs. Focus on this project and do not do other work in the same room until several days have passed. Even when it feels dry it is still a soft surface until it is cured. Start really early in the morning as it will take you the entire day. Highly recommend for an I expensive upgrade that will cemetery change the look of your sink!

Three weeks post install and it is yellowing and wrinkling in areas where you stand. After all the prep and effort I'm gonna have to replace the tub.

I liked it! I like that it was only 1 substance:) no mixing:) I did a “sanding” with some vim then did two layers of this (following the guidelines on the box) and it looks great:)

Our blue shower ended up needing 3 coats, but the results were great! Hopefully this will hold up well. The prep work alone will take at least half a day. We cleaned with bleach first, rinsed then dryed, then Comet and steel wool, rinsed and dried, then Lime Away twice with steel wool, rinsed and dried, then don't touch for 90 minutes. Then we sanded down the whole shower, and used tack cloth to clean up dust. And rolling on the epoxy takes a whole another day. Start early because you have to wait 3 hours at the least, but no more than 6 in between each coat. It is thin like water, so put a very thin coat on for your first coat and watch for runs. I believe you have to wait 3 days before you can use the shower.

Our white acrylic shower had a few small cracks in the floor, near the drain. We had a professional support the area underneath a few months ago, but his cosmetic repair job was beginning to show some wear, plus two hairline cracks were still showing, which he said he had sealed, but I was not convinced. So I decided to paint the shower floor with a good epoxy paint. After a some research I settled on the Homax product and this weekend I applied it to the floor. I was careful to follow the instructions as closely as possible (except for the temperature requirements while curing: exactly 74 degrees. WHAT?). I removed the chrome drain cover and masked all the way around, about 1/4" above the floor. The #000 steel wool did not seem to make the floor very rough, so I pulled out some very course sandpaper which seemed to do a much beter job roughing up the surface. I know for a paint job like this, its all about adhesion, so I figured the rougher the the surface the better the adhesion will be. The paint went on very easily. I took my time and made sure I got a nice even coat. After two hours I put the second coat on, and now, almost 24 hours later, I'm impressed. The paint leveled nicely and looks very good - and no sign of those cracks. I'm going to wait the full 72 hours before we use the shower, so I'll report back in a few days. We kept the bathroom fans on but my wife was still botherd by the smell. I was not bothered by it however, even when painting and directly inhaling the fumes. The shower floor was about 3 square feet and I'd say there is at least 3/4 of the can left. I think the key to this job is giving yourself enough time to go slowly, follow directions, and make sure you have full use of a 2nd shower for three days so the paint has time to fully cure. The proof of course is how well the paint stands up over time, so I'll be sure to report back and let you know.UPDATE: After 72 hours of curing, we put the shower back in service. I remain impressed with this product. The surface seems solid, the hairline crack are gone. It looks really professional. It's a bit slicker then the original surface, but I'm sure it will roughen up over time. My wife still complains that it smells a little, but I can't smell it anymore. I have upped my rating on this product to 5 stars.UPDATE 4 weeks later: I discovered a small chip in the paint, about 1/4" long. Something must have dropped on the floor to cause it, but I can't figure out what. I knocked the product down to 3 stars. I don't know how they can call this "epoxy" paint when it can get small chips in it like this.

Very very pleased with my purchase. I had to repair thermo shock cracks in my cultured marble sink/vanity top.I had checked to see what it would cost to replace it and $800.00 to $900.00 was a budget breaker. It is a(1) piece72" double bowl vanity top (Big expense - little wallet) So I purchased the Homax Epoxy to refinish the sinks after I repaired the one with the spider leg cracks, the other side didn't need repair.I followed the directions and you would never know that the bowls were light grey. They look brand new, they are very shiny and I am so thrilled with the way they look now. What a great way to update a bathroom without majorexpense. I would recommend this product, as a matter of fact, my daughter wants to see how the bowls turned out because the house they purchased has a bright blue vanity top & bowl in one of the bathrooms (Can you say UGLY!)I am sure she will be purchasing the Homax also.Great product, great price and fast delivery, thank you so much.
