I hit the age where my eyes started to weaken and I couldn't see things close up. I needed to upgrade my loupes in order to see better to do better dental work. My original orascoptics I had purchased more than 7 years ago were 2.5x and weren't good enough for these old eyes. I wasn't ready to shell out 3k to get new loupes from them. I decided to by the Songzi Dental Surgical Loupes. After the purchase, the company reached out to me to ask about my near pupil distance. I sent them a reply and 2-3 weeks later, I received the loupes. Since they were 1/10th of the price of the Orascoptics, I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, they worked perfectly. They provided me with custom loupes that worked perfectly and I could see things crystal clear with these loupes. I'm so happy with the purchase. They are bigger than my old loupes but I don't know how much that has to do with an increase in magnification vs. brand. I can't say enough about the clarity of these new loupes. I would happily buy another pair from this company. This review was unsolicited and done only so that I can keep this company in business so that I can buy from them again in the future. I also wanted to stick it to these companies who think they can rob dentists just because we're dentists.

I am a practicing Dental Hygienist. I used Orascoptic loupes for almost 15 years. I really did not want to spend the money for another par, as mine started falling apart after the first year. I started looking on Amazon to see what was available. I knew my magnification from my previous pair, and came across these, which matched. They had me download an app to confirm my PD. I have had these for about 2 months and am very pleased with my purchase. Especially for the price!

I have had professional loupes from oroscoptic and was so disappointing! I've had multiple parts break and the light is a joke, so I was searching for a more affordable alternative. I have to say these loupes are impressive. I mainly need magnification and boy do you get it! Just follow the directions to find out the measurements unfortunately the app is only available for apple users. But if you're able to get them measured they work great!!

I do have a old magnifying glasses, for my work. I have to have it ! But as it was over used. it was coming apart. I was searching for a new one. I looked over many, finally I settled on my new one Songozi Optics.I find it is doing a good job,and also is good looking.
