Since adding Starlink internet, we bring a few Google Nest Cameras on the road with us in our RV. Out outdoor camera is a battery operated one which at home or at quiet campgrounds is fine for a week or so on a charge and captures all the events we’d like (but not a continuous live feed that you can scroll through). At busier locations, like the speedway infields we often camp at, there is just so much motion that even with the event sensitivity set low and doing only intermittent recordings, the battery would often be deprecated in a day or two. We’ve tried adding a solar panel but even in the bright Florida sun it could not keep it charged. Even with the charging cable it came with couldn’t keep up and I didn’t like having an unprotected USB charger out in the rain with its short cord.This is perfect: The cord is plenty long so we can plug it in to an outlet that is protected from the weather and since it comes with it’s own power supply, there isn’t an additional exposed connection. The power supply does appear to be stronger than the only iPhone charger I was using as it seems to not only be keeping up with the power draw of the event recordings, but is keeping it’s battery fully charged as well.

I couldn’t believe how well this worked. I got tired of having to go charge my wireless nest camera that sits on our garage.It took 5 minutes to install after drilling the holes 1.5” hole in the garage siding. Now I just need to silicone around the hole in the siding once it warms up.Cord length is longer than expected. You might need to wind it up.

This charger fully supports my Nest Outdoor Camera. The Infinity symbol comes on in the App showing it is fully charging and not on Battery Power which seems to be a problem with other manufacturers out there. . I like the cord being flat as they tend to be cleaner when you run or hide the cable. My only setback is it was too short for my project by 3 feet. The cables length includes the transformer which I planned to put in my garage, not outside it. The flat cable is roughly 21 feet with the rest of the length being the transformer and power cord. I hope this company comes out with a longer cord as I like the waterproof transformer and not the Charging bricks that come with most cables. The reason I went to 4 stars and not 5 is the description should include the power cord length as separate in the description for peoples knowledge.

No issues so far and the Nest camera keeps a constant charge. Don’t get the usb powered cable as those tend to struggle to supply the Nest camera with enough charging power.

perfect, it keeps my camera at 100... before I got this, I couldn't go Monday to Monday without pulling the camera down and charging it for 4 or 5 hours. no issues now

Works great, the cord is plenty long and it's easy to drill a small hole to route it out through a wall. No issues so far, been installed outdoors for a few months.
