This is a very high quality surf rope. Our old rope handle was much smaller and hard for my kids to get up on the surfboard because they could only get one hand on it. With this new handle they can easily fit both hands and get up a lot easier. It's also nice that there are multiple loops to shorten or lengthen the rope.

My fiancee really enjoys foil surfing and has been practicing this summer, including behind the boat. This rope is really well made and I like how well it floats when the rider falls. The handle is comfortable and I like that it comes with a storage bag so it's easy to keep all of that organized.

This is a great quality wakesurfing rope that has some nice stretch to it and is very well made! I was not familiar with the Onyx brand but it seems like its beefy, quality stuff! Planning to test this during a surf session tonight but the handle has a nice coating, the rope itself is thick and has nice foam hand pieces along the rope. Overall, feels great in hand and excited to use! Highly recommend!

I'll preface this review by saying that I do not like wake surfing. Wakeboarding and slalom are superior in every way.Now that you know my true feelings, I'll talk about the surf rope. It's good. Loops at different lengths to hook on the tower so you can run the right length for your wave. Thick ropes are important for surfing so your riders can "choke up" with a firm grip. It discourages wrapping the rope around your hand or arm (never do this, btw). It's sturdy and I expect will last many, many years, especially with how much I discourage surfing on my boat.

This is no doubt a very nice quality wake surf rope. The handle is the perfect size and the grip feels wonderful. However its heavy duty at a price, the weight of this thing! Probably an excellent learning wake surf rope since the handle is a nice size and floats nicely. However once you get to the point of tossing the rope to the boat (surfing without it) , its gonna take some effort. Almost to the point you have to toss it like you mean it and thus could make a new learner loss their balance and fall.If you are experienced rider probably a nice rope for ya, however if not and just learning, look for a lighter rope.

I am not pro athlete but I have nothing bad to say about this rope, quality seems great, comes with nice storage bag.
