Worked perfectly. Much more expensive than generic memory brands, but I've had bad luck with generics.

Want to print more and faster with your LJPro? This is it. Buy more memory. Easy to install and loads instantly (turn off the printer while installing ;o) ).

This printer used to be totally bogged down if you sent a large powerpoint to it. Now with the upgraded memory, it does work slightly better, it spools consistently without freezing up, but it is still slow. So if you also have the M451 printer this should help you out, but don't expect a miracle. After many talks (pre-memory upgrade) with HP, the real problem lies with the fact that with HPs the processing is done by the printer not the computer. Even at 328 MB with the upgrade, it simply isn't enough processing power for large documents (mind you this powerpoint is only 20 pages long, it just has lots of graphics)

Don't know what to say, the memory fit as expected, works as expected. It is perfect. Installation was trivial I say

A "must have" accessory for our new printer (i.e. why a printer today ships with only 128M of memory is a whole other discussion). Priced right and easy to install.

HP charges something like $500 for the same thing. They "guarantee" that it will work with the printer. Yeah, no duh. This part was something like $18 and it meets the spec and works just fine. Despite HP's ridiculous pricing on memory, the M451dn is a great little printer. Like a lot of consumer color lasers, it has a high price per page, but it prints very well. Fast with duplex capabilities - just what I needed. I routinely print really large complex documents and while you never really know whether you "need" the extra memory, this one was priced so cheap it was a no-brainer. I've got a few other HP printers and do sometimes run into problems printing the complex documents - not so with this one. I gotta assume the additional memory gives it that extra bit that it needs.
