These are good for counting out coins, just fill the tubes to the slot. Very easy. Now, trying to slide the coin wrapper over the coins, that’s a different story. Darn near impossible.

I bought this and will return as the tubes dont count the coins accurately .For example, the 25 cent tube overestimates the $10 amount by 3 coins, so you will actually wrap $10.75 rather than $10.

For just the price of the wrappers alone you get the coin tubes which not only count the coins for you but also allow to you fairly easily put the coins in the wrapper. Saved me a ton of timeI do recommend counting the first batch by hand and filling up the tubes to ensure accuracy, for me all tubes were perfect down to the cent. Then when pushing the wrappers down you want to insert your finger in the wrapper once you expand them to give it a circle shape then lightly twist it down on a few coins, once a few coins are in the wrapper you can jiggle and shake while lightly pushing down on the wrapper and you will get all the coins to slide in the wrapper.Key is to lightly push, if you push too hard the edges will curl and jam any coins trying to enter the wrapper. Finally, you just flip the entire thing upside down with one finger inside the wrapper holding the coins in place and slide the wrapper with the coins out of the plastic tube.Fold the edges and viola! Rinse and repeat and I got about $500 of coins with the majority of smaller denominations done in a couple of hours.

I initially thought i was missing 2 items. I did not notice the tubeswere stacked. This was a good deal and easy to use. Recommend it.

The item is made in China. I would prefer an American company but nowhere in the description was this information to be found. In usage, after you load a sorter with coins carefully shake the sorter up/down to settle any coin not lying flat. Just put your finger over the side slot to avoid shaking out any coins during the process.I also inserted a used wrapper to see how that might work. Insert the used wrapper with one end closed, closed side down. Make sure the open end is as round as possible and load coins into the hopper. Shake sorter to settle all coins. Use a fingernail to gently probe the slot to ensure you have enough coins.. Hold the sorter as you would with a new wrapper and slide the roll out. Seal the end.PROS: It does the job and avoids having to manually count out the correct number of coins. I've only rolled 1 stack of pennies so my experience with the product is limited but it works. Lots of wrappers provided and one sorter for 4 different denominations.CONS: A lower denomination coin will certainly fit into the next higher one. So color-coding sorters is nice but could be improved as follows. Not sure but color coded sorters might be a problem for a color-blind person. First recommendation is the put a prominently displayed denomination value onto each tube including a braille marker.Second Reco: put a vertical slot into the tube, opposite the existing slot. This will help determine if a coin is not seated properly.

Thus far I have completed over 50 rolls of coins without experiencing any problems. I did have some trepidation about the wrappers after reading a few of the customer reviews, but they work just fine, and I would not recommend spending the money to upgrade to pre-rolled wrappers. It only took me several rolls to get the hang of how to use the tubes and extract the coins in the wrappers, but I can't imagine it will take most people many more rolls than that to get in a groove. Once you do you should be able to "roll" along pretty quickly. (It's a fairly mindless activity that you can do while watching TV!) I began with pennies and they were a little tougher than the other three coins, even after I got the hang of it. I have about $50 worth of them and am going to give them to my 12 yr old grandson, along with the tubes and wrappers and he can put in the work and keep the cash. For what it's worth, the trick to the quick completion of a roll is to let the tubes do the work. I tested the slot mechanism for accuracy several times and it passed each one. When inserting the wrapper, be gentle (always good advice) and give it a slight twist as you insert. If you get frustrated and try and force the wrapper in you're liable to crimp the paper and ruin the wrapper (they work well but are not the toughest material on the planet and the paper has to stay flat and crimp free to slide over the coins).Again after a few rolls, you should figure this all out by yourself...unless you're a complete klutz in which case you should spend the money for the electric gizmo or give up 12% of the take to one of those coin sorters you can find at WalmartsConsidering the cost, this is a very good value product.

This device funnels the coins into a plastic cylinder. There is a slot cut into the side of the cylinder that is supposed to correspond to the correct number of coins for rolling and allow any surplus coins to be ejected from the cylinder. However, the slot is not in the correct location- at least not for Canadian coins (and this product was listed on Amazon Canada). Unless you don't mind putting 3-4 extra coins in each roll it's utterly useless.
