Installed on the 3PH of my sub compact tractor and use it to pull down trees when I need to make sure the fall the way I want. Works great and the wireless remote easily works out to 100'+.

Using to tow my 900 lb light sport aircraft up an incline into the hanger.Wireless Remote works from 50 ft away from the winch. 4 stars due to the Manual being incomplete, it does not mention that the Red wire needs 12 volts for the wired switch to work. The remote will work without the manual switch plugged in. Just match wire colors BLUE AND YELLOW on the motor terminals. The wired switch only connects one specific way. 12 volts spliced into the Red wire and your done. See the attached Pic which I got from Support which should have been IN THE BOX.

Bought for the Polaris to lift the snowplow up. I wouldn't recommend it to pull the UTV.I know what I bought and what for.The wiring instructions are weak but you can go to another site and figure it out.

This product worked perfect for what I needed. But you should throw the directions away when you get them. They are not the right directions for this product. It tells you to hook up black and red wires when they're blue and yellow, which it's easy to figure out, but there's also a red wire that you have no idea of what to do with and that needs to be connected to the battery also. And the wire isn't long enough to reach at least what I needed it for, but if you watch a YouTube video on how to install it, you will be very happy.

The unit comes with a 3/16" dia. cable. It wrapped around a flanged spool. The clearance between the spool flange and the spool support plate is slightly larger than the cable. The cable tends to birdnest on the spool unless constant tension is applied while winding. It should be guided by hand to avoid it birdnesting i.e. turning into a big tangled knot. Once it begins to tangle the cable can override the spool flange and wrap around the spool shaft. The unit will jam and cannot be either wound or unwound. It may be impossible to unwrap the cable from the spool shaft so the unit becomes inoperable. This is a real problem if you are in the middle of towing or moving something. You may have to cut the cable while it is under tension which can be dangerous.If you buy this unit you must keep an eye on it AT ALL Times.This is the second of two units I purchased. The first one worked OK but my use is simple. The second one self destructed in less than 3 months of very little use.There will not be a third purchase.

Living in a colder area, I waited until spring to install and check it out after receiving on 6 Dec 23. The wired remote didn't work. The wireless remote did work. Initially tried contacting the seller via avenues on Amazon, finally getting results by leaving a poor rating. Was offered a refund or new switch. Asked for a new switch first. New switch worked great and so I'm pleased with my purchase.Also, the instructions provided were not representative of the product. Wiring colors/locations differed between the instructions and what was received. Made it a little confusing when you get blue and yellow wires and the instructions state red and black wires. In their responses they did include a picture of the multicolored wiring, which I've attached in case it can help someone else.
