Like everything about them

I work extensively with low-voltage electrical projects and frequently use "lever nuts" for both temporary and permanent low-current connections that can be quickly reconfigured. We call them "ow-dammits", because the lever will smack your fingernail if you aren't careful. The YQSIYU connectors have performed well for me so far. I especially appreciate that they can be ganged together to create a neat DIY splice block, keeping my setup tidy. The connections are solid and reliable across various wire types, including solid, stranded, and tinned stranded wires.Another feature I love is the option of different lever colors, which is great for color coding. While I prefer the clear body over the gray since it allows for visual verification of the connection, both versions work fine. However, my only gripe is that the test port is too small for standard multimeter probes, which can be a bit inconvenient. That said, there are some important caveats: these connectors are excellent for low-current applications, but I do NOT recommend them for high-voltage circuits or any situation involving high current draw. Also, they are not UL-listed or certified, so they should not be used in projects requiring lab-certified components. In summary, when used appropriately in low-voltage, low-current setups, these connectors are an excellent tool to have on hand.

This works great. There has been no issues with closing the connections. There is a point where it feels like it might break but that is the point where you have to snap it to close it. That is how they work. Very easy to use, and quick.

My background: I am an advanced DIYer (not an electrician). I tested these connectors using 14 AWG wire. What these do: They are used for splicing 1 wire to 1 wire. The units can be grouped together, but each unit splices 1 wire to 1 wire. What these don't do: They are not intended for splicing 1 wire to more than 1 wire. In other words, if you intend to connect 2 or 3 wires to 1 wire, these are not what you need.General Description: As shown in the first of the photos, this is a box of splice connectors. Each connector has a notch & key design that allows the connectors to be linked together (see photos 2, 4, & 5). Each connector is about 1.5" long, 0.5" tall, and 0.3" wide (38mm long, 18mm tall, and 8mm wide). They have a plastic lever that can be raised and lowered easily. Any insulation on the wire that you are splicing needs to be stripped back about 0.25" (6.5mm) before being inserted into the connector (see photos 6 & 7).Positives: These connectors are easy to use. The contact with the wire is firm (there is no tendency for the wire to be able to move or even spin). It is also easy to see that the lever is in the locked down position. Being able to group the connectors together is a nice feature. It makes for a clean looking installation.Negatives: While I did not experience a high failure rate, 1 of 30 connectors was not usable. The lever broke when I was trying to move it from the closed position to fully open (see photo 8). The connectors are a bit bulky. This is something to be aware of when planning the layout and size of junction boxes.Summary: These are good connectors for splicing 1 wire to 1 wire. They are easy to use and have been reliable (so for). I am taking away 1 star because of the 1 of 30 attrition rate and because they are bulky. I recommend them for splicing wires.

These are great! Save time and hassle when splicing wires. My application was vehicle emergency lights. These splices allowed me to temporarily configure the lights for testing and eventually make connections for the final configuration. They secure the wiring well and make solid connections.Highly recommended!

I work in low voltage electronics, in the 5-12v range, and no more than a few amps, and these wire connectors work really well for that application. Wires snap in and remove easily, and my multimeter leads easily fit into the test pads. I see these are rated for 400v and 32a, but I'm pretty conservative and personally wouldn't do more than 50v and 5amps with these. I love how they snap together into bigger blocks, which makes it easy to keep tidy.

While the use of these may be simple to some, it won't be obvious to most. Read the instructions in the ad copy and remember where to find them because there are absolutely none with the packaging. The directions given in the ad copy are not really clear. There are native English speakers who are professionals who write directions and such, even ad copy. That said, these are an easy answer if you are not a fan of wire nuts, which I'm not. Strip a bit less than a 1/2 " of insulation off the wire and slip it under the open lever and close the lever. So simple! However, these are not for household 120v wiring. They are great for lower voltage like a trailer or other 12v systems. 4 stars, minus one for crappy instructions and no instructions.
