We have bought these kinds of toys from a different vendor in the past. That vendor is no longer around evidently. Kids love these toys, but when I got these for our recent camping trip the kids discovered this version falls apart very quickly. The previous ones also wore out as well but it took several nights of use and abuse before the wings would rip. This manufacturer looks just like the old ones we used to get but the wings ripped quickly (sometimes on the first shot) so they were a disappointment for the kids.

Perfect for hours of fun this summer. My kids love shooting these off at night with their friends. We will have plenty to last the summer. Great colors and lights. The whole family loves them.

I got these to hand out at Halloween.There are 25 in the box, and the one I tried was fun and flew quite high, although it did manage to get temporarily hung up in a tree (a stiff breeze blew it down). The LED light is very very visible after dark. There is a switch to turn the light on and off.I wish there were some instructions included - the "fold here" markings on the wings are not easily visible, even in bright light.

the kids are obssessed with these! a couple of them were on amd dying right out of the box, but majority of them were bright and lit up easily. it comes with 25 in the box. its great to have alot because my kids get them stuck in a tree so youll have extra peices if needed. once you get it down how to shoot them they start going higher up. you do have to fold the paper down for it to flutter, but when it comes down it doesnt really come slow, it still comes down fast. my kids are learned it goes up farther without the wings. lol. they are really pretty in the night. this is a great activity to keep them busy for a bit at night.

We got these as party favors for a birthday party. They are east to assemble, and the slingshot does launch them well into the air so they can helicopter down with the propeller. The lights work but are only visible in the evening when it is almost dark. Older kids should have no problem using them, but I had a few seven-year-olds who couldn't figure out how to fold the propeller or shoot it up in the air with the slingshot.

Really fun to do these in the evening as the sunlight is fading. The little flings flash with multi- colored lights making them easy and fun to track and find in the dark. Even my 4 year old granddaughter could launch these with some guidance. We had a lot of fun with them.We did have issues with the on/off switch on one that wouldn't let us turn it off once it was switched on.You do need to fold the flaps before you can use these. We often did get the slight whistling sound when we launched these but not every time.
