It is a serial cable and it works as such. Appears to be good quality and heavy duty.

I need that length in my cables so i have chosen that cable and i rated it as 4 stars to assure that it was like i expect. I recommend to use that cable while connecting heavy duty instruments to computers.

These used to be common but now the are rare as hen's teeth. There are still lots of products in the industrial world that use the RS-232 standard to talk. This is a nicely made molded cable, and with a couple of adapters will work for any of the old serial communications standards.

great null modem, can't beat the price, especially for old cables like this that are difficult to find. package came quickly in a simple plastic bag... no directions or paperwork were included. Not a problem if you know what you are ordering. Make sure this is what you need before you order it.
