Great little lock box. The top plastic shelf comes out and there is more storage in the bottom. It’s made entirely of metal (aside from the top drawer) and comes with 2 keys. Great for locking away personal belongings, money, jewelry, medication, important documents, etc. It’s rather small so it won’t hold a lot but it’s perfectly sized for hiding it away from anyone you don’t want near it. So many possibilities with this thing!

I want to preface this review by saying it’s for a metal cash box, not a fire safe as depicted in the first image. I ordered this cash box ahead of a community garage sale, and I was very happy with it.The lower compartment is great for holding bills, ID, or other small valuables. The upper tray has 6 compartments for coins or jewelry.The lock operates very smoothly with the included key, and I felt secure having cash tucked in here during our sale.I deducted a star because it does feel like it could be easily broken open if someone were to steal the whole thing, but for an extra layer of protection, it’s a good value.This is NOT however, a fire safe, and so any fire protection capabilities were not tested.

A very basic lockable box. Construction wise it's very thin metal, small hinges, includes 2 keys. Lock mechanism was a little sticky, we had to insert the key at the right angle to open it. Inside was pretty small, but had a plastic removable tray. This is NOT sized for US money, so don't think about using it as a change box. Inside edges were a little rough, I had to check everything for sharp edges! This is good for kids, if they lose a key, it's easy to open with a butter knife (hint/warning).

Kind of flimsy metal but will serve its purpose. I have seen better quality and was not really impressed with this but for the price it will work to man a garage sale. One consideration is that this will have to be in a place not accessible to shoppers but also accessible to me. I may find it easier to use a fanny pack. The change area is a plastic tray that fits on top and seems as more of a problem rather than just throwing everything underneath in the large area. It is probably more suited to a child as this could be easily broken into with a kitchen knife.

This is a sturdy secure box. It has slots for coins (a bit too many IMHO) but spots nonetheless. The lock feels nice and tight- not difficult to close and the box seals securely. It has a nice handle and two keys. I think the only improvement that could be made would be to have a place to keep some easy grab cash on the top part of the box- like maybe eliminate a whole row of coin storage and replace it will a slot to keep smaller bills? Otherwise it's a great little box to keep some petty cash in.

It’s affordable, small, low security lockbox. I wasn’t expecting more. This is great for fundraisers or lemonade stands for kids to keep money covered and not easily accessible. Box itself is flimsy metal construction and for the price, it’s perfect. Has a tray for coins.Would not leave this box unattended. But I can bring it anywhere I need it.

I ordered this to keep my password little notebook in and also any small notebooks. The key felt like it was going to break when I went to open it. It all seems very flimsy, which I should have expected for the price, so I'm still giving it 5 stars.This is more of a one time event type of a lockbox, to hold cash.

This Steel Lock Box was exactly what I needed! It held the money perfectly for the garage sale I had the other weekend. It was nice to have the removable coin tray on top, so that the paper money could hide underneath. This steel lock box is made of quality materials. It was not flimsy and felt very sturdy.

This product comes in simple packaging with little excess. It was well packaged for shipping and mine arrived in good condition.I was a bit underwhelmed with the unit after unpacking. The box has adequate, but just average overall build quality. I cannot describe this as being robust. The alloy used in quite thin and it is easily bendable with a screwdriver. I would consider this at best to be a light-duty type of box that will provide you with some measure of basic, simple, security.However, this can be a useful box for things like organizing coin and small cash exchange for someone who holds regular garage sales or community organization events for something to handle raffle ticket or receipt storage. Overall, it is worth considering for the right application.

This seems like a sturdy, well-made box. I picked it up to store money and other valuables, and lock them up so my kids don't get sticky fingers and make off with my cash! For that purpose, it works great. I do wish the tray allowed you to store bills -- it only accepts coins, so you have to lift the tray and store the bills underneath. Still, overall, it's a good, durable box.

I got two of these cash storage boxes for my kids to store their money. The size is perfect for Canadian bills, and the coin tray makes counting change easy. It comes with two keys (the colourful elastic in the photo is just something my kids added to keep track of the key).It feels sturdy and well-built — not something that would bend easily — but still lightweight, so probably not ideal to leave unattended. Great for kids, craft markets, or fundraising events where portability and basic security are what you need.

I initially got this to store my jewelry when not in use, but I find myself storing money below the tray as well. This lock box has a good locking mechanism - no issues inserting or turning the key. The box is not overly big, and can easily be stored in a hidden corner of your closet, or displayed in your closet. I like the added layer of security this brings, to avoid temptation from visitors to my home. For the price, look, features, and quality, this was a good value for money.
