I can't seem to figure out how to hook it up, there's no instructions, and the obvious way doesn't work. Probably just me but I can't get it to work at all for my ring doorbell.

Heavy! Great built quality! Puts out rated output and is basically a boiler transformer without the need for an electrical box. LED indicator is also a nice addition!

A bit heavy but quite sturdy. Easily wire the screw type connections. This is a new installation so not sure of the durability.

Ok, so this allows us to use the video doorbell without the ghastly doorbell box up on a wall, or even to put a video door bell on a wall where the home wasn't wired for a bell. It is super easy to install, screw in a couple wires and plug it in and the ring doorbell just plain works, no battery swapping! 5 stars!

I needed a transformer to connect to my video doorbell so I don't need to keep replacing the batteries, and this is working great so far. It's very heavy, but that's because these are built with extra copper to run continuously for years without failing or overheating.Because of the weight, it is meant to be screwed in to keep it from falling out. It fit my outlet just fine after I removed the original center plate screw.So far my doorbell is working well with it, so no complaints here!
