Overall, I'm very pleased with these clamps. However, the manufacturing or stamping in of the holes left sharp burrs on some of them around the holes. It's fine once they are mounted. Just needs to pay a bit of attention when handling them. Overall not a big deal, just something to watch out for.

Stainless steel makes for a good clamp, won't tear out like plastic clamps. This 1 3/8" clamp fits the outside of 1" ID sch40 PVC pipe or rigid PVC conduit. However, if you are clamping this pipe near a fitting, you will need a larger size clamp or a spacer between the wall and the clamp.

These lightweight straps would be great for PVC pipe, but are a little light for steel pipe. The dimensions are as described with maybe a little room to spare around the pipe. I ordered 1 3/8" for some schedule 40 PVC that I intend to hang around my shop. The base is closer to 1 1/2" though you could get it closer by pinching it.Pros: Stainless steel and ribbed for strength.Cons: They are pretty thin and wouldn't be suitable for steel pipe or metal conduit.

These stainless steel clamps are fairly light duty because of the relative thin metal used in the clamps. It would work for most of the situation to fix a conduit or pipe in place where not a lot of tension is expected. The ends of the clips have burs but otherwise the edges of the clamp are OK. The price is reasonable.

These are just right for mounting a 2 inch pipe from the ceiling and hanging small items to be spray painted. Edges are smooth, not stamped and sharp. Finished surface is uniform and not at all rough. Overall, perfect clamps at this price point, will buy again when needed.

Purpose for Product: Securing 1.5" schedule 40 PVC pipe to 2"x4" pine runners.Product Inspection: 24 pieces #304 stainless steel 2" conduit clamps. Clamps are thinner than plastic or galvanized clamps. Notice: On each end where the screw hole is located-there are very sharp metal burrs- the burrs are very noticeable and on EVERY clamp. Stainless steel composition should hold up to any weather for some time. Not worried about them rusting at some point.Product Performance: Mounted a clamp to a 2"x4" pine runner securing 1.5" schedule 40 PVC. This size PVC has an OD of 1&7/8", the clamp fit the PVC perfectly. Due to the thinness and my inexperience with SS clamps I tested one for toughness. These things are very flexible, I secured one in a vise and bent it 180 degrees. The clamp finally broke after sixty-eight (68) bends.Summary: Thinner than what I am used too conduit clamps but as strong or stronger that any I have used. I can't imagine what I would be handing that these things would not work on. Fits 1.5" schedule 40 PVC perfectly. Price point is budget friendly. But that metal burring thing is so obvious I can't imagine how quality control missed it and that is the reason for reduced rating.
