I have several cheap pieces of glassware and I have to say this item is heavier walled and more well formed than anything else that I have. The ground joints are precisely formed and ground. The flanges are squareAnd sharp. Some cheap pieces I have had to be massaged with a grinder to get kek clips on but this piece needs nothing. It's packaging was ideal. I couldn't imagine a safer way to send it within reason. I could no doubt drop it on concrete from 6 feet in the air without breaking it.
