This have worked well for me throughout the house as we have moved in and hung new things. I will say that every now and then the tips will bend as we drill it into the drywall and this can cause frustration. Tips of product are a little soft at times. Based on the price i would still buy again as this has served the purpose we needed.

I found these drywall anchors to be very sturdy and safe. I have used them to hang pictures, lights, clocks, and even as an anchor point for a shelving unit. I like how I can use the same phillips head drill but to set the anchor and then drive the screws.

I'm always hanging things up and self drilling wall anchors are a godsend. It's great to have so many, and the price is awesome for the amount you get.

I am a moderately handy person. I can refloor bathrooms, refinish hardwood floors, change bathroom fixtures, etc. However, I have always hated drilling into my walls, I could never get it to look good. Even with anchors it would be a marred mess, and that's IF the anchor held. I don't know how many times a plastic anchor stripped, spun, or flat out sucked.I decided to get the meaty metal stuff, as a "f around and find out" mentally. My concern for bigger holes had been overcome by the multiple plastic anchors I have knawing at the back of my mind waiting for them to fail due to the above reasons. These immediaty exceeded every aspect of what I hoped for! Like why hadn't I done this before? The metal anchor is self drilling as long as you mark the hole, the pointed tip will start exactly where you place it, no drill bit jumping off center and you having to commit lol. Great part is, you just put a Philips head screw driver in the end and that will allow you to self drill the anchor, grab the screw (also Philips so no need to change bits) and affix. Takes about 30 seconds to get it in the wall completely. Compared to the 5 minutes with plastic anchors, pilot hole, matching the diameter to a drill bit, final hole, tapping in ever so gently so you don't snap the plastic anchor in half..... then screwing in the screw lol.So with is being self drilling it is a TIGHT hold, like holy crap, the flat surface at the end gives it a great flat finish. You could paint over it and it would almost look like it belongs. With it being such a tight grab, naturally it helps incredible with load capacity, I have absolutely not quarrels or off feelings about any one of these anchors I installed. My only dilemma comes from the convenience of the design. You kind of get lax with checking for studs as this are so quick and easy, if you don't manage to get into a stub these will completely tear the wall up, and the tip will bend and you will not be able to get a bite. So something to be aware of. In those situations I had to get creative as there was a little larger hole than I would have likes as the threads on these are so aggressive.

After installing the entire box of anchors, I'm impressed. Unlike imitations online, these rarely strip the Phillips drive head unless too little pressure is applied to the bit or if the bit is accidentally angled. Amazingly, not one broke off if they seated before I let off the driver, unlike the imitations, which are a pain to remove when they fracture. All screws insert easily without needing careful threading so installation of each only took a few seconds and the strength exceeds the 1/2" sheetrock into which they were installed.
