These bags look just OK but feel solid. They are made from 1680D durable polyester fabric coated with PVC inside, which makes them water-resistant. The D stands for denier, which is a measure of the fabric thickness and density, and 1680D polyester is one of the strongest commonly available polyester fabrics. It is strong, durable, and tear- and abrasion-resistant. The stitching looks just OK but is strong and built to last with no serious imperfections. Thanks to their larger size, they can weigh up to 30 pounds each.We have many canopies in our yard, so I have used up all the sand and ground cover rocks. Fortunately, after years of collecting rocks and pebbles along the shore, I have plenty to fill many weight bags.Our area usually does not have strong winds. However, over the years, the wind has been getting stronger and stronger, and a couple of weeks ago, it seriously damaged one of our 10-foot by 10-foot canopies, bending and twisting the metal frame. At least, thanks to four weight bags, it did not fly away, which prevented more serious damage. Since I have so many canopies in our yard, windy days always cause my blood pressure to shoot up. These weight bags will join forces with my other weight bags to keep our canopies and umbrellas from getting airborne.It will take time to assess how sturdy and trustworthy this item really is. My review will be updated if this product does not deliver as anticipated. For now, although they do not look great, they work as designed, and I recommend them.

We got this for our pop-up gazebo and tested it out, and it works well! We've just used them with a few water jugs, I love that they're sturdy enough for that, I hate dealing with sand (it's coarse and it gets everywhere). The bags are sturdy and made well. The seams are holding up, and there are no defects as far as I can tell. We will be using these a lot this summer! So if they don't have much longevity, I'll be sure to update. But I honestly have faith in them.

Great set of 4 bags to fill with sand. I didn’t try to use water so not sure if it would leak or not. The sand doesn’t spill out though. Great pack and enough weight to weigh down my patio stuff.

I recently acquired a canopy tent. It's a godsend. I got it not for fun events but to be able to work on vehicles in poor weather. I don't get the luxury of not fixing something just because it's raining. If you've ever had to work on vehicles in the rain you know it's one of the worst things. The canopy, while not completely negating poor weather, makes a night and day difference. Because I'll be using this almost exclusively in bad weather I needed a way of holding the canopy down, so when I saw these I had to try them.Use is pretty simple. Fill with sand, attach to the legs of the canopy/tent, done.These are great canopy weights! The bags are rugged feeling and hold well to the legs. They don't appear to leak, though my use with them so far is limited. When filled they are very heavy, and will definitely hold the canopy through some bad wind.Overall I'm pleased with these canopy weights. For the price, they're a steal.

We host a stand at outdoor markets from time to time, and these are usually on concrete or asphalt parking lots. Unfortunately this makes it difficult to tie down our canopy tent, and it makes us a little nervous when the wind kicks up.These sandbags are perfect to add the additional weight needed to hold down our tent. Easy to transport, and easy to fill & attach to the tie down ropes, these work exceedingly well for what they were intended for. Good price, nice construction, if you need to weigh down something with rope, this is a good place to start!

So I actually love these they are tall 20" VERY STURDY and I love the velcro to pole concept in addition to the hang from corner handle. Slightly disappointing is the issue of the velcro inside the bag. Yes you can fold it over while filling fold several times in fact.Still when you go to closethe velcro is still inside likely to get all full of sand - secondary to this is the water issue the seam points straight up at the sky so keeping water out will an issue and if sand wasnt already in velcro the flooding water full of sand will take care of that as the hook and loop becomes a filter to the over flow. Hmm not trying to be negative it just such a great bag really and sadly I know it is not going to last if I don't concider these points.. this product would be so greatly improved iF it folded over on the top to velcro shut or even if it had someway to hold the top folded over UPON ARRIVAL instead of me having to work this out .additionally oh it would be great if the top handle went to the middle of the velcro and the velcro came together as shown in my second picture. Rotate velcro 90 degrees so the bag when folded over would be close to the pole also the handle then also close to the pole could even be taken down the pole and held down with the pole velcro AND Would be folded down to shed rain .. the direction it points >>straight out from pole AND STRAIGHT UP.just puts it right into the drip line of the top cover and extends it out into the rain as much as possible.. it will fill with rain the wet sand will likely rot the bag. This needs some kind of drainage or plan to keep water out. Even if I hang the weight A bit from the corner which i would like to... that demands the crease is pointing up They are super nice bags for a great deal and you can tell some thought and effort went into designing a tough bag. Here in torrential rain land I may have different concerns than some other folks. These are made like a ultra heavy duty backpack with rubber lining, my concern is wet, heat and sand conspire to speparate these 2 things rapidly. I am going to play with these some more and see what I come up with . They will function wonderfully !! They will be heavy when full of sand or water . They could have bagged sand or 2litter bottles of water or sand put into them if you prefer that route . They are sewn very nice and I'm very impressed with the size and quality. If your using temporarily you likely good if you want to use long term Please consider these points I've brought up this is so close to perfection. I'm going with 4 stars for this I WILL make them work and last. I will play with them some more it is possible that settingvth up as in picture2 will work even though the velcro won't be engaged.. I'll update ..
