Item has a pair of vertical wings, not four separated wings. It is a 2d representation of a dragon fly and only remotely looks like the real thing. False advertising in its worse form. Do not trust this item as it is a misrepresentation by the seller. Look elsewhere to purchase this item

Hear me out. We have giant biting flies & mosquitos SO bad where we live. I read that dragonflies keep those away. So I ordered these decoy. I put several up on our deck, awning legs, and around our pool. And when I went outside I stuck one in my hair (ponytail) sticking out above my head. If I was weeding the garden I added one to my bucket. Sounds crazy right? But, it worked! I'm SO allergic to those fly bites, sometimes end up needing to go to the dr. I did not get one fly bite this year when I'd normally get several a day whenever I'm out. These will be a staple now.

I thought they would come with clips to add them to a hat but they don't. They do seem to be working to ward off flies from coming in the house, I stuck them behind the door frames. So far so good but trying to figure out how to attach one to my summer hat.

I've scattered these little dragonflies around my garden to discourage mosquitoes. I'm not sure if it works, but they're cute.

I ordered this at the beginning of summer because I saw a video of someone attaching fake dragonflies to their hat to keep flies away. I placed some near my doors, and it worked!
