Easy to install, but my hens are dumb and clearly don’t know how to use them. So I have to go out every day to twice a day to make sure the cups have water in them. Easy to clean, good quality for the price.

Like other reviews, you get what you paid for. Have used all 24 cups, majority of them are knocked off way to easily, some broke when putting on the waterer. They don't do well in winter time, most of them would freeze which is fine but the chickens would try and get water they would brake off the nipples. You get what you paid for. I would recommend heavier duty cups.

The washers are inadequate to create a seal between the drinking cups and the tank you're installing them on. This causes a constant drip from most of the installed cups creating a huge mess inside the coop and depriving your chickens of water that they need to stay alive. So instead of making my life easier and more simple it's added a degree of complexity because of the poor design of the washers. I am so disappointed.

The value per cup isn’t as good as it could be as several cups leak so far and a few nuts are cracked/unable to be used. Bought instead of more expensive/per cup options and probably ended up with the same value per cup.My chickens do like them (they tested some) purchased for quail and they will be starting to use them soon (just babies now)Water doesn’t sit in the cups is why I purchased these. Trigger releases water with pecking.

We've tried at least 3 different waterer types for our chickens. They never last more then 2 weeks. The inner springs/workings snap and I end up with a puddle. I've had these for over a month & they have worked great with no problems.

Replacing similar or same item on chicken waterer after 2 seasons. These are my favorite style of waterer for chickens and quail due to ease of install and durability to cost & replacement ratio. On new install, rebuilt pvc waterer fed to 6 gal elevated bucket. Out of 5 new installed, 1 broke at base of threads from light water pressure and the 4 others are leaking. Appears the threads are loose enough and the simple rubber washer isn’t enough to keep from all dripping.After the 6 gal passes through, while they are all leaking slowly, some silicone thread tape should do the trick. More of a heads up on the install/application. Previous batch sealed perfectly, these may require silicone thread tape. Smart regardless. Otherwise excellent product for the money, many extras for replacements. Probably good for a season or two depending on conditions.
