This deer and rabbit repellent is an absolute game-changer for protecting my garden! I was struggling with deer and squirrels nibbling on my plants, but after using these, the problem is gone. The 24-pack provides great coverage for my yard, and they are easy to hang or place around my plants. I appreciate that they are safe for pets and humans, so I don’t have to worry about any harmful chemicals. The scent is strong enough to deter animals but not overpowering for people. This does not look and smell the plant-based formula with natural ingredients. This smells exactly like mothballs. I am not sure if this repels deer, but it repels moths for sure. I am allergic to the mothballs. Secondly, mothballs are pesticides. For this reason, I can't recommend the product.

Enbabbor Store deer and rabbit repellent arrives with small bags to hang on plants and bushes. Strong smell.resembling moth balls.

It is very hard to rate this product until I can actually use it in the garden and see what happens. Between deer, rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels and birds, it's usually a losing battle. I fence where I can and also use plant covers. Sometimes these things are not possible so a successful deterrent would be lovely. I like that these are made of natural ingredients and not toxic chemicals. I like that they come with little bags to contain them and the bags have strings in case you want to tie to something. They are smaller than I expected, a little smaller than say a ping pong ball. Instructions say you can place them about 9 feet apart which seemed good to me. If I find they actually work they will be totally worth the price and then some! Obviously, if they don't work, it will have been a waste of money. I will try to update in the summer.

I put these all over my greenhouse to keep rabbits and field mice away from my veggies. The scent doesn’t bother me so I do hope that it bothers those pesky pest.

Ingredients:Peppermint oil 3%Garlic oil 2%Putrescent whole egg solids 2%White pepper 1%Soapbark 92%About the size of a cat toy, these repellent balls smell more like mothballs than garlic and peppermint. The odor isn't very strong either, at least when compared to actual mothballs. These may work for deterring squirrels and chipmunks from digging though your flower pots and garden beds but not deer. Effective deer repellents have a much stronger putrid, rotten egg and garlic odor. Hot chili pepper powder also works much better than white pepper. I like the idea of the sachet bags to inclose the repellent balls. I see nothing in the ingredients list that would be harmful to the soil or plant roots as the repellent ball breaks down. Perhaps the Enbabbor Deer Repellent will meet your needs to deter small critters but unlikely to deter deer, especially when it comes to their favorites like sweet potato plants and the tender leaves and young shoots of flowers. BTW, mothballs should never be used in a garden. They contain toxic chemicals that can contaminate your garden soil and harm your plants.

I live in the sticks on a mountain top on a dirt road. I live in the environment where I'm the invader and the deer are part of the indigenous population. I have several gardens. Sadly, the deer love them even more than I do!!! Some are fenced, some not. I use deer repellents to keep the pesky deer from eating me out of my gardens! For the most part, deer repellents work. This product is different from what I'm used to. I've already found it is as effective as what I've been using. It is almost 100% effective, which is not bad at all. It keeps me from the effort and expense of putting up more 8 foot tall fences!
