Having come up in an era where a machinist apprentice and journeyman would have to make these things from scratch - generally after hours, I find it incredible that one can get this quality and accuracy for this kind of money. Still blows my mind.

This is a set of two classic 2" x 3" x 4" setup blocks that every machinist needs. Each block has 23 crossed drilled mounting holes that are made to 0.0003" precision squareness. They are made from hardened steel for durability and performance. The blocks are easy to use and to keep clean. 5 holes are tapped to 3/8"-16 and others are untapped. Fine precision squareness and a smooth finish. Perfect for machinists, woodworkers or metal workers.Would recommend these to anyone.

Looking for 2-3-4 blocks?If you are looking for 2-3-4 blocks then you know what they are used for in a machine shop. Recently, we inherited a lathe, and other machine shop machines. I’m planning on using these matched set blocks in our shop once it is built out. The blocks have an accuracy of squareness of 0.0003”, and parallelism +/- 0.0003”. Both of those measurements exceed my ability to test, so these blocks are impressively square and well designed for my needs.Additionally, the blocks have 23 holes with five of them are tapped to ⅜-16, so you bolt these to each other or other blocks.These 2-3-4 blocks are a great addition to any machine shop.Recommended
