Installing was easy if you are the DIY type. Itβs not an OEM part. Fan is just a bit louder than the OEM original, saying that - this is our garage refrigerator (purchased new, 11 yrs old) so the sound is not an issue. Symptoms before replacement - freezer good, refrigerator slightly cool nothing cold. Tip, take the time to defrost any built up of ice and make sure the vents are clear of ice before you put the freezer back together.Within 3 hours, refrigerator was cold and unit was back to norm.So far - very happy with replacement - cost good, voltage check, through fan motor good, easy installation, did what was expected good.

I thought I had to buy a new fridge turns out my fan burned out. Bought this one now both freezer and the fridge work like new. Installation is not hard at all. 10/10

Diagnosed my evaporator fan as bad. Showed no Ohms, and direct current from the connector which was hot did not work. Took old one out typed the numbers in the back in and here I am. Fan immediately started working. Took more time to remove all frozen food than it did to fix this. Freezer quickly got to about 19 degrees, fridge will take several hours, but is 25 degrees less after 2 hours. Wife wanted me to buy a new fridge lol. $16 and done.

This was a perfect fit, easy to install, and fixed my warm refrigerator and frosty freezer. Saved a ton of money from the OEM replacement. Very pleased. We did have to bend the connector for the ground wire so we could put the ground wire back on but it was easy with a pair of pliers. Installation took maybe 30 minutes. With next day delivery our refrigerator was back in perfect working order. And since I checked everything else on the fridge, I did get the coils cleaned as well as the back of the fridge and floor underneath. It is working so well now I had to turn the temp up in the fridge as things were getting icy. My 23 year old son did most of the installation, but his 57 year old Mom (me) helped. : ) We installed it about a week or two ago and it's still working great.

Our refrigerator wasn't staying as cold as it should, in fact when I stuck a thermometer in the fridge it was holding at about fifty degrees, and the freezer was about thirty. I troubleshot things and noticed that the air was not moving very much, leading me to check the fan- it was running. We called an appliance repair man who stuck his hand over the vent in the freezer and said "the windings are going bad". Apparently the fan was not turning at the full speed, so not enough air was being brought over the evaporator coils to cool the refrigerator adequately. I got this fan and it took about half an hour to do the swap and it's chilly in there now! Our freezer is hovering around zero and the fridge is holding about 36 degrees. I had heard that a fan motor can be checked with an ohmmeter, but for some reason that didn't work for me, I couldn't get a reading on the old or the new fan, but the new fan did the trick.

I used this item to replace a fan motor in my freezer on my sears kenmore refrigerator. The part circulates air from the freezer down to cool the fridge. The motor had stopped working and is no longer manufactured. I found this product online hoping it would work as a replacement and am so glad it did. I had to remove the fan blades, brackets and rubber fitting and wire connection and put them on this new motor and plugged it rite into the old connector and it worked like a charm. If it had not worked, I would have to spend around $1000 on a new fridge and wait for it to arrive. Less than $20 bucks and about 20 minutes for install and my fridge was cool again in a couple hours.
