Item arrived faster than expected, packed very well and the instruction is clear and details. I tried the digital scale as soon as open the box, overall very satisfied. This refrigerant scale is very nice, accurate and easy to use. The case is well-made hardcase and portable, perfect for storage and sorted things up. It takes 1 9V sqare battery to run which is not included in the package but can be easily bought from any local stores. The capacity is 220lb, enough for most cases. The large display screen is a plus, better than those cheap models. This refrigerant scale is much affordable than other name brands such as Elitech, fieldpiece and yellow jacket, at least I checked everything and found this refrigerant scale is in the same quality and details. I would call this is a super deal!

I don't know a lot about refrigerant scales, but my husband does. I got this for him. He works on central heat and air units. He tested this out and says it works as well as the one he spent $200 on. He's used it for around 3 weeks now and it's still working good. If anything changes, I'll update my review.

All of these appear to be made by one manufacturer just different colors and branding names, this one has the worst backlight I've seen on any of them, said i would keep the unit if they discounted it but they were not interested and not a very good customer experience. So sent it back unused, would avoid this one, there are cheaper ones on Amazon which are identical technically but with much better backlight display

This scale is complete and works exactly as it should. Read more for a rant below lol.Yes, there are a lot of "good" ways to fill a refrigeration system. But the best is always going to be by the volume determined by the manufacturer. I don't know how many times I've seen cars over/under charged just because a guy with a set of gauges and a tank of refrigerant says he knows what he is doing. That's fine till it's extreme temps outside and you aren't cycling right because of an over charged system.An empty system especially, USE A SCALE. Almost all systems will give you a precise amount to fill it and that removes any guess work. Often there is very little fine tuning needed afterwords.Even for at the home DIY'ers. This will level you up and make you feel a bit more confident you did it right. It's the information age, there really isn't any excuse for winging it anymore.

It does the same thing as every refrigeration scale should built well and more cost effective then the others at the time
