... the holes in the shaft are too small for the cotter pins they supply. Holes are 5/32nd but cotter pins are 3/16's. I drilled out the holes easy enough, but now am concerned on how hard the steel is. Perhaps it will be fine. So 4 stars due to wrong size holes...

They’re built to last but make sure you check that they fit first.

I live in an area where it hardly ever snows. So, when we finally had a snow I was excited to use my Polaris ATV with the factory snow plow. I got the snow plow four years ago, and it had not snowed since then, except for this one occasion. I got out my ATV with the snow plow attached and did my long driveway, then the street in front of my house. I got carried away continued to do my entire block. After I was done, I noticed I had worn down and snapped off one of the skid shoes. So, I went online and ordered these “Snow Plow Skid Shoes”. When I got them, I was immediately impressed with how much beefier they were than the originals. The plates themselves are at least twice as thick as the OEMs. Additionally, the welds look much more substantial than what was on the originals. These are a perfect fit for replacing the originals and they installed on my snow plow easily. My only problem is that now, I may have to wait a few more years before we get another snow, and I get to use and test these skid shoes. But I’ll be ready!
