The part for 2.5" NST x 1.5" NPT is not NPT. The 1.5"' end comes as NST.

I’m using this for a modified fire hydrant I use for a hose bib in my yard and it works perfect. It’s made using a solid chunk of heavy brass alloy and it’s got a nice matte finish. The threads are all cut nice and clean and it threads on easily and the hose threads on it easily as well. It’s just a nicely finished adapter and I highly recommend it.
