Your cart is empty.Decoraids faux tin ceiling tiles (pvc) is a great way to add a design element to any room. Our tiles are 24"x24" and can be installed over most surfaces such as popcorn, drywall, stucco, plywood and most flat surfaces using a construction grade adhesive(Loctite power grab) or you can lay them into standard suspended(drop in) ceiling systems. The product is durable and looks great. The only small downside to the product is one box had bent corners that I had to make work. I installed them directly to a flat ceiling in my dining room, finishing the perimeter with a new stained oak crown mould. Using panel adhesive only was frustrating because edges would sometimes start to sag before adhesive set. I thought to use double sided tape for the perimeter edges and continued using panel adhesive for the center. It took a little bit longer but resolved the sagging issues and also corrected the bent corners issue. I had to move two air registers to set them in the center of tiles so it looked good. The dark panels made the room darker, but my project included a new chandelier with a lot of bulbs so it is okay. The result is a very fancy room compared to the plain room prior.

I’m using little nails to put these on the ceiling instead of glue. Could not be more beautiful in our library!

Two large to install.These are not easy to install they are large and you always have to cut them so you’re going to have edges like little strips that don’t look right there is a special piece that you have to order to cover up the seams that doesn’t match and unless you have a perfectly square area that you’re putting these in it doesn’t look good at all because you have to cut all the pieces you have to cut the edges so you’ll have three large tiles at all fit together but then on the edge you’ll have this weird cut and if you don’t cut it right it looks trashy and unprofessional and the little strips that supposedly cover the scenes don’t match the pattern this is not worth it

It got the job done, mostly. We put them up with a staple gun, not the best. I imagine they’d be better for a drop in ceiling. Not durable enough to put on a wall.

The box came EXTREMELY damaged (like rabid raccoon trying to escape). Amazingly only 4 of the tiles were damaged in the corner, but were still usable due to how tiles are overlapped during installation.I mounted these as wall art with velcro command strips on a giant wall in an apartment where I am not allowed to paint or use nails. I get SO many compliments, but they still feel and look cheap to me. The gold paint is sloppy and misaligned over the bronze design.The tiles off-gassed for almost two weeks. I had to put them outside, because I was getting a headache from the stink.On a high ceiling, the sloppy quality of work will be less noticeable, versus you can walk up to my wall installation.
