I needed to remove some paint and I did not want to use chemicals. These did the job quickly and efficiently. Beware -- they raise a lot of dust. Use your respirator mask! They also wear down quickly, like sandpaper. Buy a lot.

These are pretty good **IF** nothing grabs the pad and offers resistance to it turning. If it does it will rip the thing off the mandrill and you will get a chunk of plastic stuck inside. If you are cleaning a flat surface it will probably be great. If you have a screw or jagged edges... Probably not.

I was skeptical of these at first but now they are one of my staple abrasive discs for my die grinder. slag, rust, paint, it all disappears instantly with this and it doesnt take off more material from the work piece than it should. way better at surface prep over an abrasive disk from an angle grinder. I make sure to keep a package of these on hand at any given moment.

I am writing to say looks can be deceiving.This product does very well. I would purchase again. Good for metal and wood. If you want to clean up a surface from surface rust or remove some paint. This is your go tooooo item. Very pleased!
