It struggled with tougher soil and the battery life was too short for larger gardens. The steel tines didn’t provide effective tilling.

Used once - was great for de thatching as I let it glide over the dead grass & churn up some hard died out soil . then it quit ,l thinking battery was worn down- recharged it . NOTHING . Now found out it's past due the return date . HOWEVER I FOUND OUT THAT AFTER RETRYING THE BATTERY FOR A CHARGE IT REACTED IN POSITIVE MANNER . IT FULLY CHARGED & RETRIED AS POSSIBLY AS IN OTHER BATTERY OPERATED TILLERS I RESEARCHED ON LINE THE MOTOR MAY CONTAIN A THERMOSISTOR THAT WHEN OVERHEATING OCCURS CUTS POWER TO MOTOR , THUS SAVING THE MOTOR FROM UNDUE DAMAGE .THE BATTERY FOR SOME REASON MUST HAVE BEEN TOO HOT FOR RECHARGING . wAITED UNTIL THAT NIGHT TO RECHARGE & IT LIGHT ALL GREEN FULLY CHARGED CONDITION . WORKS GREAT .JUST TO NOTE WHEN USING ALLOW IT TO REST _ MAYBE USE FOR 5-10 MINUTES & ALLOW COOLING FOR A MINUTES . RE WROTE THE REVIEW & GAVE IT 100 % .IT WORKS TO SURFACE SKIM THE DEAD GRASS AND HARDENED DIRT TO STRIP IT AS WOULD A DE THATCHER .

Very handy item. Works well. Can go multi-directions with ease. Have smallish garden, and my larger tiller difficult to maneuver when plants are growing. This little machine can fit into otherwise tight spaces very easily. Light enough to pick up and relocate to different spot in garden. Very nice, and quick delivery.

This tiller cultivator cam unassembled, but is so easy to assemble, I didn't even need the instructions to assemble it. It is very intuitive. The tines are thick and very rigid. The weight is just a wee bit heavy because of the electric motor. But since the most of the weight is on the bottom end, it makes the cultivator work better. When you turn it on to use it, hold on tight. It may be small, but it is very strong. I was able to cultivate a 200-square-foot vegetable garden and half of a 96-square-foot raised flower garden on just one battery in about two hours. It got out all of the grass and weeds, except for the ones with the deepest of roots. There were a couple of times when the tines dug up some of the weed preventer fabric I had laid down in the flower garden and it got wrapped around the cultivator. But since it is so easy to remove the tines, it was easy to unwrap the fabric. After using the cultivator for those two hours, all of the tines were still unbent. This is going to save me hours of back-breaking manual hoeing and using the pickax to dig up weeds. I would recommend this tiller cultivator.

It’s a good little tiller, the only problem is I get maybe 45 minutes out of a full charge, other than that works great for weeding between rows.

Easy assembly. Hard-working tool. Worked with it for 20 minutes tops, and it did a better job than I could have done in 3 hours! HUGE time saver. Really gets into the soil. Just remember (we felt kind of silly): You pull it through the dirt, not push it.

This cultivator is fantastic. It took 5 minutes to assemble. Battery life is more than adequate. It works soil that hasn't been broken with ease. It really divas down on soil that has previously been tilled.

SO glad I purchased this! I have a bad back (and knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.) and this is lightweight, really digs the dirt (red clay) efficiently! We planted 8 new rose bushes in a newly hand-dug/turned plot to which we tilled in 3+ cubic yards of peat moss to the topsoil--very easy tilling and mixing! We found that after digging small holes for each plant that needed to be made wider or deeper, if we set the tiller in the hole and let it rest there and then* ran it against the sides of the hole we could make the hole as wide as we needed! It is the perfect tool for us--and no cords, none of the mixing the gas/oil mess that our old tiller required--this thing is perfect for what we need! The run time was also great-we ran it without stopping for at least a full hour before WE needed a break to "recharge" OURSELVES, but it was still charged and able to run at that point. Love it!
