The idea for this is really clever. The numbers stack up and add up to the other number. So 6+1 stacked would equal the height of 7. I haven’t quite figured out what the cards are for, but it seems like it’s advanced and would be too much for my 5 year old now. So I’ve got time to figure it out. Well made and bright colors.

We like this way more than I thought we would. They’re vibrant wooden numbers sized in descending order. A big reason for our love of this set is the inclusion of the cards that have our kiddo interacting with the numbers organically as he builds the card’s design. Super simple and effective as my three year old shouts out the numbers to make the build. Was funny too because I did my build with my kiddo with the numbers standing up vertically, and that creates a fun edge, but daddy laid his down flat which I didn’t even think of doing, but which allowed for more creativity without worry of knocking the numbers all over the living room. Overall the set is great too because it’s a pretty compact set that’s easy to use and store, and of course, the wooden factor is just awesome too.

He's had them for a week and he's already learning addition and subtraction with these blocks. He's 4 years old and I'm very impressed. He enjoys them a lot and I enjoy helping him learn. It makes it fun for both of us. These are great for home and classroom settings. Definitely a five star find.

20PCS Wooden Number Building Blocks are different and fun! They come with cards that show possible builds with different levels of difficulty. They're vivid and cute for little hands but I would have preferred chunkier pieces. They're wooden and should last a while, however.I recommend them and I hope you find my review useful.

Great wooden math blocks. Love how they stack to equal what the simple math is. The cards that come with it are great to use for different ways to play with the blocks. This is great for early math addition.

This “digital” number blocks set comes with challenge cards at various difficulty levels. I tried these with my 3.5 yo grandkids and they weren’t interested in following directions (surprise), but they loved stacking the blocks and naming the numbers. My high school students enjoyed completing the challenges and stacking the pieces, but the target audience is somewhere in the middle of those extremes. Each number has the word, number, and appropriate number of dots on the end of each piece. The pieces are sturdy and painted well. These would be great for homeschoolor school use and a teacher can easily come up with other ideas for how to use them (who can make the tallest tower that adds up to fifteen, etc). $19 is a bit steep, in my opinion, but the pieces are well made and the challenges are planned out well. I would consider buying another set if I could catch it on sale. No complaints.

I think this set is too tiny for youngsters who would put them in their mouths. These are right for school age, but they are scaled for height which works great for learning dimensions when older. I have seen these large scale for little kids. These are definitely for older kids. You have to know what you are getting.

This is a very unique, fun, and engaging math learning toy. The pieces are made from wood. They have a smooth finish and they are nicely painted. The numeral, dots, and the spelled out name of the number are painted on the bottom. There are 15 two-sided cards that contain ideas of different ways to stack the numbers. I am going to laminate the cards and put them on a metal ring so none of them get lost. I am pleased with this set.
