The patches I received are accurate to the photos on the product page. I like there are several sizes so you can match the hole. These feel like good quality and you can see the rip stop lines. Overall, good quality and match my jacket color well so I'm happy.

My rain pants had developed a hole and a long rip and these patches looked like a possible repair. The pants were well dry and cleaned before application. The clean part is quite rare, as these pants are worn regularly on trail crews. The patch backing removes easily and the patch itself seems to stick firmly to the nylon material. The square sides of the patch allowed me to stack the patches adjacent to each other to cover the whole long rip. The Amazon webpage mentions to allow 2 days before the patch is to get wet, which was granted. That statement was not made in any of the instructions that came with the patches. The photo is after a long day on the trail clearing logs and debris. There was plenty of rain to wash most of the dirt off the pants on this day. The patches stayed secure, with no sign at this point of loosening. We'll see how they do long term. The different sized patches come in handy for various sized patching needs.Unfortunately I snagged a stob on a log and ripped another hole in the same pants on this crew. So as soon as these pants dry all the way I'll be patching another hole.

These are a great option for mending damaged puffers and ripstop. They have a basic ripstop nylon windowpane texture to them. They are definitely going to be a little bit thicker than packable weight nylon, but it’s better then a hole!My only complaint so far, is that the backing is a little hard to get off, as it’s just a single sheet. It’s especially hard if you get your nails done and you have thicker edges on your nails.

This is a kit of three different sizes of adhesive patches, all in an octagonal shape. The shape reduces the corner edges thus preventing peel-up of the patch. The adhesive is pretty aggressive. The instructions say do not expose to heat for 48 hours which makes sense. You want to let the adhesive cure onto the fabric. The weight of these patches is very close to the light denier fabric used in most down jackets. I'll keep a few of these in my travel kit and hiking essentials.
